  • the surface layer contemplated herein do not adhere well to film surfaces even when the later have been subjected to well-known pretreatment operations such as, for example, treatment by corona discharge, flame, or oxidizing chemicals. It has been found, however, that the use of primers intermediate between the substrate and the surface layer provides a high level of adherence.
