Description

F; GOLDBACK AMUSEMENT DEVICE Filed June 5. 1922 Patented Nov. 25, 1924.
FRITZ GOLDBACK, F MARYSBURG, PROVINCE OF SASKATCHEWAN, CANADA.
AMUSEMENT DEVICE.
Application filed June 5,
To all whom it may concern: 7
Be it known that I, FRITZ GoLDBAon, a subject of the King of Great Britain, residing at Marysburg, in the Province of Saskatchewan and Dominion of Canada, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in an Amusement Device, of which the following is a specification.
The present invention relates to an amuseinent device having for its principal object to provide means for entertaining which will be extremely simple in construction, and inexpensive to manufacture.
With the above and other objects in view, 1 the invention resides in certain novel features of construction, and the combination and arrangement of parts as will be hereinafter more fully described and claimed.
In the drawing Figure 1 is an elevation of the device, a portion thereof being shown in section, and Figure 2 is a detailed section through the receiving element.
Referring to the drawing in detail it will. be seen that 1 designates a handle which is provided at one end with a reduced portion 2 adapted to receive the neck 3 of the transparent hollow sphere 4. A platform 5 is formed on the reduced portion 2 of the handle 1 and a figure in the form of receiv-- ing elements 6. This figure is preferably constructed to represent some grotesque ure and has a longitudinally extending bore 1922. Serial No. 566,189.
7 in its upper portion the entrance thereof being slightly enlarged by means of the lips 8. A plurality of marbles or other spherical objects 9 are situated in the sphere 4. It is the object of the invention to throw the spherical objects 9 into the bore 7 of the receiving element 6.
The example of the invention which 1 have illustrated in the accompanying drawing is merely the preferred form thereof, but I do not consider myself limited to that particular construction except as hereinafter claimed.
Having thus described my invention what I claim as new is An amusement device of the class described comprising a handle of elongated construction, a transparent hollow sphere mounted on one end of the handle, an elongated receiving figure on the same end of the handle and situated within the transparent hollow sphere and provided at its end further from the handle with a longitudinally extending opening, and a bumper platform between the figure and the handle within the transparent hollow sphere.
In testimony whereof I afiix my signature in presence of two witnesses.
FRITZ GOLDBAOK.
