acitizen of the United States, residing at Gardner, in the county of Worcester and State of Massachusetts, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Childrens Garments, of which the following is a specification.
' My invention is an improvement in under garments for childrens use, comprising a waist portion and drawers made in one piece with shoulder bands for thewai'st portion and an opening at the back closed by buttons, with means for holding stocking supporters detachably', and to prevent chafing of the body by the metallic connec tions. I In the accompanying drawing, Figure 1 shows a general View of the garment, the opening at the back being shown in dotted lines, and Fig. 2 is an inside View of the front of thegarment showing the hose suppprters and their connection with the waist band.
The waist of the garment is shown at at, having shoulder straps b, which are made in one piece with the back of the waist and buttoned to the front. The back of the waist c, is secured to the drawers by a buttoned band d forming a part of the drawers, while the drawers and waist are connected together at the front by a waist.

This forms avery simple but effective construction and is so strong as to make it almost impossible for the safety pins to pull out under the ordinary wear and tear that such garments are subjected to, while at the same time the safety pins may be readily detached for laundry purposes.
' What I claim is a A childs garment comprising a combination waist and drawers, with an attachment for stocking supporters, consistlng of two superimposed flaps secured to the garment at the waist line, each of the fiaps extending across substantially the entire front of the waist band, the inner flap having a plurality of openings spaced apart and adapted to receive safety pins from which the stocking supporters depend, and the outer flap covering the inner flap, substantially as-described.
