The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent and making part of the same To all whom. it may concern .ne it-.kntwn that I, 'WILLIAM-H. MORGAN, of A1- liancc, inthe county of Stark and State of Ohio, have invented a new ,and useful Improvement in ltarness` Hook and Loop-Shield Combined; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full and exact description thereof, reference heing'had to the accompanying drawing and to the letters ot" reference marked thereon. Thenature of my invention consists in a new article of manufacture, viz., a harness-hook and loop-shield co|nbined,the same being constructed as hereinafter described.
To enable others skilled inthe art to make and use my invention, I will proceed to describe more fully my new article ot' manufacture.
In the acconn'mnying drawing, which forms part of my specification- Figure 1 is a side view ot' my improvement in harness-hook and loop-shield combined.
Figure 2 is an edge view ot' the same.

The hook A may be cast of brass or other alloy,
and plated to give it a fine finish, or it may be cast ot' malleable iron,'(cast.iron annealed,) and enameled, tiuned, Or plated, for the purpose of giving a fine tinish to the hook.
