Speciication forming part of Letters Patent No. 106,496, dated August 1,6, 1870.
To all whom fit may concern:
Be it known that I, ALEXANDER M GGUIRE, of Winchester, Litcheld county, andState ot' Connecticut, have invented a new and Improved Casket-Handle or Door-Pull and I do hereby declare that the following is a i'ull and exact description thereof, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, and to the rletters ot' reference marked thereon.
This invention relates to that class oi' coffin or other handles which is made in detached parts, and afterward united by screws to make the handle complete; and it consists in uniting the screw and the trnnnion of the handle in a single solid piece by casting the latter abut the former, as will be fully described hereinafter. i
