It consists in certain peculiarities of construction,
v combinationpand arrangement ofthe parts composing i same, as will be hereinafter specilically designated and set forth in the following ,specilcatiun and claim.
In the annexed drawing forming a part of this specificationl A is a bar or rod; having a longitudinalslot at one end, asshown in fig. 4, through which `plays a traveler, having :Lanark-point secured thereto in any` coui veulent `marinier, the lower side of the traveler having flanges tofact againstthe under surfaces of the projecting parts ofthe har,`when drawn up by turning i the thumhlnut, b, upon the lug b', attached tothe traveler.
- A washer may be introduced -between the thumbnut and the har, if desired.
