Изобретение относится к области медицины и касается фармацевтической композиции, которая содержит, как активное соединение, аторвастатин, для лечения и предотвращения сердечно-сосудистых болезней, и находится в форме продолговатых покрытых таблеток, ядро которых состоит из спрессованного гранулята и содержит: аторвастатин и/или по меньшей мере одну его физиологически приемлемую соль; основание, которое является меглумином и является равномерно распределенным в ядре таблетки с помощью распыления последней на твердую смесь в процессе получения гранулята; фармацевтически приемлемый наполнитель, и дезинтегрант.
