Винахід стосується способу спільного одержання оцтової кислоти і диметилового ефіру з суміші метанолу і метилацетату при температурі, що дорівнює від 200 до 260 °С із каталітичною композицією, що включає цеоліт, що містить 2-мірну канальну систему, яка містить щонайменше один канал, утворений 10-членними кільцями, і має молярне відношення діоксид кремнію:оксид алюмінію, становить щонайменше 22:1.
