Description

螺旋進刀式鑽銑刀具
本發明係有關於一種鑽孔刀具兼具銑刀之改良,尤指一種搭配數值或電腦數值控制工具機產生螺旋進刀之方式進行鑽孔及銑削功能之螺旋進刀式鑽銑刀具。
請參閱第12圖所示,一般習用之鑽頭,其鑽削之孔直徑ψd係根據鑽頭之刀刃直徑ψD而定,每一種尺寸之鑽頭只能鑽削一種孔徑,因此使用者必須準備相當多種尺寸之鑽頭,導致鑽頭尺寸之庫存量相當多,此外該麻花鑽頭所鑽削之鐵屑多為連續性之排屑且鐵屑寬度大,尤其是軟鋼、鋁或鋁合金或是不銹鋼材質之鑽削加工,連削性之鐵屑不易斷屑,易阻塞於排屑槽內,熱傳導及阻力相當大,主軸承受之負荷相當大,控制器之主軸負荷表通常在60%左右,這對工具機之主軸、剛性、切削精度及壽命等影響相當大,因此無法連續鑽削,只能間歇式鑽削,邊鑽邊停,鐵屑一旦發生阻塞,則無法繼續進行鑽削,加工必須暫時中止,清除鐵屑後再繼續運作。
請參閱第13圖所示,係為習用捨棄式鑽頭,該捨棄式鑽頭之捨棄式刀片雖有斷屑槽之設計,但鑽削材質較軟之材料時,仍會有不易斷屑之現象,容易發生阻塞、過熱之現象,必須使用切削液對準鑽頭澆灑,加工過深時,排出之鐵屑將會阻擋切削液進入孔內,無法到達鑽頭末端之 切刃位置,切刃之溫度將會持續升高,仍需要暫時中止鑽削,清除鐵屑後再繼續運作。
雖然有市售中心出水之鑽頭,然而中心出水設備之費用高昂,約佔工具機費用之30%,以致於普及率僅為5%左右,因此傳統之鑽削作業必須邊鑽邊停之間歇式鑽削,以達到退屑及散熱之功能,加工效率明顯不彰,增加加工成本。
前述兩種鑽頭,切削方式都是屬於連續切削,其產生之鐵屑大且為連續性之鐵屑,以致於容易發生阻塞及過熱現象,此外,不論是麻花鑽頭或是捨棄式鑽頭都必須考量鑽削深度之限制,鑽削之深度越長造成無法排屑之困境,鐵屑將會阻塞在鑽槽內,導致無法進刀之缺點,必須拉出鑽頭退屑以及散熱後才能繼續鑽削作業。
習知麻花鑽頭或是捨棄式鑽頭兩種鑽頭,切削方式都是屬於連續切削,其產生之鐵屑大且為連續性之鐵屑,以致於容易發生阻塞及過熱,每一種尺寸之鑽頭只能鑽削一種孔徑,使用者必須準備相當多種尺寸之鑽頭,鑽頭尺寸之庫存量相當多量,且都必須考量鑽削深度之限制,鑽削之深度無發超過鑽槽之高度,否則鐵屑將會阻塞在鑽槽內,導致無法進刀之缺點。
本發明為一種以螺旋進刀之方式進行銑削及鑽孔之螺旋進刀式鑽銑刀具,包含一刀桿,該刀桿之一端之相交錯位置設有凹槽,該凹槽之底面形成一刀片,該刀桿之本體周緣上設有螺旋槽,該螺旋槽之槽端係與凹槽連接者。
本發明以螺旋式進刀之方式,搭配刀刃之結構設計,進行水平銑削及朝下鑽削之方式,產生比刀具尺寸更大之孔加工作業,因此刀具之準備數量就可以相對降低,切削液也可以由刀具中心處澆灌注入孔內,高轉速、高扭力之鑽銑作業搭配螺旋槽之設計,切削液及鐵屑藉螺旋槽朝上推出孔外,具此可以降低刀具切削產生之熱能,鐵屑排出順暢,刀刃得以長保銳利,更能適合深孔之加工。

請參閱第1~3圖所示,本發明係為一種搭配數值或電腦數值控制工具機以螺旋進刀之方式進行銑削及鑽孔功能之螺旋進刀式鑽銑刀具,本發明螺旋進刀式鑽銑刀具10,包含一刀桿11,該刀桿11之一端之相 交錯位置設有凹槽12,該凹槽12之底面形成一刀片13,該刀片13之底面及側面形成刀刃131、132,該凹槽12底面之刀刃131係呈波浪狀者,該刀桿11之本體周緣上設有螺旋槽14,其中該螺旋槽14之槽端141係與凹槽12連接。
本發明螺旋進刀式鑽銑刀具10,主要係繞著螺旋線之方式進給進行水平銑削及朝下鑽削之操作,有別於傳統鑽頭僅有朝下直接鑽削之作業,請參閱第4、5圖所示,該螺旋進刀式鑽銑刀具10進行螺旋式鑽銑之實施例,以本實施例而言係以鑽銑刀之刀刃直徑ψD為ψ27mm之鑽銑刀具進行鑽銑孔直徑為ψ33mm之加工操作,由於該刀具之刀刃直徑較被加工之孔直徑小,在鑽銑時該螺旋進刀式鑽銑刀具10之中心點C必須偏離孔中心c一間距e,使得該刀刃132可以鑽銑到孔31的邊緣,此位置即為該螺旋進刀式鑽銑刀具10在鑽銑時之極限位置,該螺旋進刀式鑽銑刀具10將會繞著該間距e進行旋轉,繞著該間距e形成之螺旋直徑ψi暨為該螺旋路徑S之旋轉直徑;請參閱第6、7圖所示,該相同尺寸(ψ27mm)之螺旋進刀式鑽銑刀具10進行尺寸較大之孔徑鑽銑作業,其鑽銑所旋繞螺旋路徑S之螺旋直徑ψi相對較大。
請參閱第8圖所示,該螺旋進刀式鑽銑刀具10在高速(約35 37rpm)及高扭力之狀態下旋轉,且水管20同時隨著該螺旋進刀式鑽銑刀具10移動並釋放出大量的切削液,切削液流入該切削之孔31內並使該螺旋進刀式鑽銑刀具10之頭部沉浸在切削液內,該隨著刀桿11高速旋轉之螺旋槽14由槽端141處灌注入切削液,該切削液受到高扭力所產生之推力Q推動(如第9圖所示),藉由螺旋槽14之旋轉產生之推力連同鐵屑40朝上流動,而且該螺旋槽14係非常靠近孔31之側壁面,加上切削液之黏度,使得該切削液及 鐵屑40受到限制而朝上推移,最後流出孔31之外面且逐漸堆積。
前述螺旋進刀式鑽銑刀具10之螺旋槽14形式係為方形狀之實施例,請參閱第10圖所示,係為本發明圓弧形狀之螺旋槽14實施例,該螺旋槽14之形狀僅為本發明具體實施例之說明,並非用以限制本發明。
請參閱第2圖所示,該螺旋槽14之槽深b及槽寬w之尺寸大小係隨著鐵屑之大小而設計,因本發明之鑽銑能夠自動斷屑,其所形成之鐵屑因而非常短小,故槽深b及槽寬w之尺寸小,使得該螺旋進刀式鑽銑刀具10之本體剛性佳,可以承受高轉速及大扭力之轉動,重切削時不致有過大之變形量,其所鑽銑之精度相對提升,最後精加工所預留之尺寸相對得以降低。
請參閱第11圖所示,係本發明刀片以捨棄式結構設計之實施例,該螺旋進刀式鑽銑刀具10之凹槽12設有刀座15,該刀座15得容置一捨棄式刀片50,該捨棄式刀片50之底面及側面形成刀刃51、52,其中底面之刀刃51係呈波浪狀者。
以上所述是為本發明的具體實施例說明及圖式,並非限制本發明,任何熟習該項技藝者在本發明之領域內,可輕易思及之變化或修飾皆應屬本發明之含蓋內容。
綜上所述,本發明螺旋式進刀之方式,搭配刀刃之結構設計,進行水平銑削及朝下鑽削之方式,產生比刀具尺寸更大之孔加工作業,因此刀具之準備數量就可以相對降低,切削液也可以由刀具中心處澆灌注入孔內,高轉速、高扭力之鑽銑作業搭配螺旋槽之設計,切削液及鐵屑藉螺旋槽朝上推出孔外,具此可以降低刀具切削產生之熱能,鐵屑排出順暢, 刀刃得以常保銳利,更能適合深孔之加工,因而無須添購工具機專屬之中心出水設備,仍然能夠實施鑽孔或是深孔加工作業,刀具無須鑽削出水孔就能以原有之切削液供給設備供應刀具切削液,此一結構設計乃為刀具業界之首創,深具新穎性及創新性。

Claims (1)

  1. 一種螺旋進刀式鑽銑刀具,以螺旋進刀之方式進行銑削及鑽孔,包含一刀桿,該刀桿之一端之相交錯位置設有凹槽,該凹槽之底面形成一刀片,該刀桿之本體周緣上設有螺旋槽,該螺旋槽之槽端係與凹槽連接;該螺旋進刀式鑽銑刀具,其中心點略偏離被加工孔中心一間距,該螺旋進刀式鑽銑刀具繞著該間距進行旋轉,形成螺旋直徑,為該螺旋路徑之旋轉直徑者。
