Description
本發明係關於在光學儲存媒體,增加動態選單按鈕。
今日的光學儲存媒體格式,能支持視覺選單,例如供內容管理或控制功能。此種視覺選單的應用,是從碟片上複數標題選出其一,選出標題內的章節等等。從使用者透視,此種選單包含顯示器上所示的許多按鈕。使用者可在選單內導航,例如在其遙控器上,按上、下、左、右的按鈕,以選擇選單按鈕,並可藉遙控器上的某些OK按鈕,作動選單按鈕。通常為主光部或箭頭之指示器,可提供反饋給使用者,以表示目前選用或作動的是哪一個按鈕。選單按鈕可以有「正常」、「選用」或「作動」諸狀態之一。
然而,已知DVD選單有關額外特點相當有限,因其只含有狀態視覺按鈕。
再者,由歐洲電訊標準化協會(ETSI)提供的文件「ETS 300 743:數位視頻傳播(DVB);副標題化系統」(DVB-ST)內所含副標題化規格,已知可將副標題埋入視頻序列。
本發明可利用來對操作光學儲存媒體有關選單的使用者,給予更多反饋。反饋包括視覺上和/或聽覺上的動態按鈕。提供此種反饋之方法載於申請專利範圍第1項。
含動態選單的儲存媒體載於申請專利範圍第9項。
適於表示此選單的裝置載於申請專利範圍第10項。
按照本發明,顯示器上所示選單按鈕可有不同外觀,視其狀態而定。狀態可為「正常」、「選用」或「作動」,按鈕對各種狀態有不同的顏色或形狀。此外,聲音或聲音序列可附於部份或全部選單按鈕,視按鈕狀態而定。聲音有例如的答聲或旋律,或演說序列。本發明提供資料結構,藉此可說明其附加特點。
本發明較佳具體例揭示於申請專利範圍附屬項,以下說明及附圖。
茲參照附圖說明本發明具體例。
第1圖表示視頻螢幕1,含有選單,包括按鈕2,3,以及說明按鈕之相關文本。使用者在遙控器4上壓下按鈕5,6時,按鈕2,3狀態即變化,按鈕的表示亦然。在第1圖內,選用一按鈕2,即與未選用的按鈕3看來不一樣。使用者在遙控器上例如壓下「右」按鈕6,所選用另一按鈕6即在現在選用按鈕2的右方。使用者壓下「OK」按鈕5,所選用按鈕即被作動,並進行與選用按鈕相關之功能。按照本發明,選用的按鈕2即動態化,例如有與未選用按鈕3不同的另一種顏色和另一種形狀,而其顏色和形狀可變化。特別是按鈕亦可以活動符號、活動漫畫等代替,視狀態而定。
本發明較佳具體例係根據歐洲電訊標準化協會(ETSI)提供的文件「ETS 300 743:數位視頻廣播(DVB);副標題化系統」(DVB-ST)所含副標題化規格之語法和語意學。為提供增進光學儲存媒體相關選單之能力,DVB-ST內界定的
分頁組合段,延伸到說明動態選單按鈕,並使聲音或聲音序列與按鈕關聯。增進分頁組合段於此稱為「選單分頁組合段」。
本發明一如DVB-ST,使用分頁組合段說明一或以上長方形區域在顯示器上的位置,假設區域含有按鈕在某種狀態之表示,例如圖素資料或位元映像。各按鈕影像即可經由識別符(ID)或"region_id"。在本發明此具體例中,使用選單分頁組合段的相關段型ID,保持與DVB-ST的向後相容性。選單分頁組合段界定如表1所列。
本發明「選單分頁組合段」也取代例如DVB-ST內之原有分頁組合段。選單分頁組合段說明選單,並提供必要部署和定時資訊,以及額外控制資訊。
在本發明一具體例中,以狀態選單之簡單情況而言,各按鈕以例如三種影像表示。第一影像表示「正常」狀態之按鈕,第二影像表示「選用」狀態之按鈕,第三影像表示「作動」狀態之按鈕。此等影像可例如以位元映像檔案儲存在儲存媒體上,並可用來顯示選單。
在另一具體例中,超越狀態選單,此選單分頁組合段亦可說明動態按鈕。在此情況下,按鈕之「正常」狀態和「選用」狀態,各以顯示的一系列影像表現,可例如在螢幕上循環重複,以達成動畫效果。為按鈕之「作動」狀態,亦可界定動畫,但於此只能顯示動畫相一次,因為在按鈕作動後,選單往往即消失或修飾。
對於選單之全部按鈕動畫,選單作者可特定動畫格播
放率,界定動畫各相顯示有多長。
有益的是本發明亦可對使用者提供聽覺反饋。若按鈕不是在「選用」狀態就是「作動」狀態,則可指定與聲音相關的聲音識別符,可儲存在儲存媒體上。在按鈕進入個別按鈕狀態時,相關聲音即回放。在本發明一具體例中,只要按鈕在個別狀態時,相關聲音即一再回放。
選單分頁組合段的結構,以及選單分頁組合段諸場之語意學,係根據DVB-ST第7.2.1節「分頁組合段」賦予之結構和語意學。附加的語意學定義係用於本發明增進選單。
表1表示本發明選單分頁組合段之結構。1-8行與DVB-ST標準的副標題段一致,賦予保持後退相容性之可能性。表1所示諸場之意義說明如下。圖素定址是基於座標系統,其原點以相關視頻螢幕上的左上角界定。圖素定址從左到右,並從頂到底。相關視頻的維度係界定為視頻_寬度﹡視頻_高度。
一段通常是儲存面積內之資料單位。「段_類型」界定其類型。選單分頁組成段可藉標置例如「段_類型」=0×18加以識別,因為此值尚未用於DVB-ST。表1第2-8行諸場界定段資料組。
動畫_格_播放率_電碼場特定在使用動態按鈕情況下動畫之格播放率。應用於開始_區域_識別符_xxx和結束_區域_識別符_xxx所特定之區域範圍,xxx指按鈕狀態。若開始_區域_識別符_xxx及其相對應結束_區域_識別符_xxx不同,其界定區域範圍應以此動畫格播放率表現。對正常和選用狀態而言,對「作動」狀態可循環重複表現,表現只能進行一次。若任何開始_區域_識別符_xxx與相關結束_區域_識別符_xxx一致,意指靜態或非動態按鈕狀態。只有開始_區域_識別符_xxx所指定區域才顯示,且為此按鈕狀態,動畫_格_播放率_電碼應無意義。
表2表示動畫_格_播放率_電碼之例列表。動畫可以全視頻格播放率目視,例如每秒30圖像,以即以各視頻格,顯示另一動畫相。亦可以每隔一視頻格,顯示動態按鈕的另一相,因此達成另一效果。此外,可把格播放率界定於相對或絕對。所以,動畫_格_播放率_電碼場之值有二不同意義,依相關視頻是否存在而定。在此情況下,動畫_格_播放率_電碼賦予相對於視頻格播放率之動畫格播放率,否則為絕對之格播放率。
按鈕_號碼場特定按鈕內部識別符之號碼,用於下列界定之諸場,例如鄰居_資訊()場。此外,當按鈕_號碼進入直接通過使用者介面(UI),即可作動相關按鈕。所以,按鈕_號碼是選單內之唯一。可例如為二數位數,範圍在0和39之間。
本發明選單動畫所用若干場,必須為各按鈕分別特定。列在表1從第11行起,跨越全部按鈕的環路在此開始。
環路之各例對照一按鈕。隱含著選單_分頁_組合_段()內環路第一例所述按鈕,在進入選單時可視為「選用」,而若選單之分頁潛時標置且變成有源時,則視為「作動」。
按鈕_水平_位址場特定按鈕左上圖素之水平位址。特定之水平位置可在0和視頻_寬度-1之間。同理,按鈕_垂直_位址場特定按鈕左上圖素之垂直位址。特定之垂直位
置在0和視頻_高度-1之間。
上_按鈕_號碼場特定使用者從現用按鈕向上導航時要選用的按鈕。下_按鈕_號碼場則特定使用者從現用按鈕向下導航要選用的按鈕。左_按鈕_號碼場特定使用者從現用按鈕向左導航要選用的按鈕。而右_按鈕_號碼場則特定使用者向右導航要選用的按鈕。
開始_區域_識別符_正常場特定在正常狀態為按鈕表示所要表示的第一區域識別符(ID),而結束_區域_識別符_正常場特定在正常狀態為按鈕表示所要表示的最後區域識別符(ID)。全部區域之間,包含開始_區域_識別符_正常和結束_區域_識別符_正常,有ID存在;如果開始_區域_識別符_正常與結束_區域_識別符_正常不同,則區域範圍以動畫_格_播放率_電碼界定的動畫格播放率循環表示。
開始_區域_識別符_選用場特定在選用狀態為按鈕表示所要表示的第一區域識別符(ID),而結束_區域_識別符_選用場特定在選用狀態為按鈕表示所要表示的最後區域識別符(ID)。全部區域在開始_區域_識別符_選用和結束_區域_識別符_選用之間有ID存在;若開始_區域_識別符_選用與結束_區域_識別符_選用不同,則區域範圍以動畫_格_播放率_電碼所述的動畫格播放率循環表示。
開始_區域_識別符_作動場特定在作動狀態為按鈕表示所要表示的第一區域識別符(ID),而結束_區域_識別符_作動場特定在選用狀態為按鈕表示所要表示的最後區域
識別符(ID)。全部區域在開始_區域_識別符_作動和結束_區域_識別符_作動間有ID存在;若開始_區域_識別符_作動與結束_區域_識別符_作動不同,則區域範圍係利用動畫_格_播放率_電碼所述動畫格播放率表示一次。
按鈕_命令_資訊()場用做與此按鈕相關命令用之容器,特定在按鈕作動時要進行之命令。
最後,選用_聲音_識別符場特定在按鈕進入「選用」狀態時所要播放聲音的識別符(ID),而作動_聲音_識別符場特定在按鈕進入「作動」狀態時所要播放聲音的識別符(ID)。
本發明可特別用在藍光碟上儲存之選單,但亦可用於DVD、其他光學或非光學高容量儲存媒體。

Claims (14)
- 一種控制可移式儲存媒體所儲存視頻資料表示用選單的選單按鈕之表示方法,選單按鈕具有正常、選用或作動共三種狀態之一,其中視頻資料係按照指定之視頻幅率,表示在顯示器上,此方法包括步驟為:-從該儲存媒體檢復描述選單按鈕之資料,資料包括各按鈕用之形象資料,其中描述選單按鈕之該資料又包括二識別符,特定每按鈕狀態之區域範圍,且二識別符各定址於該圖像序列之按鈕形象,而各按鈕形象可經該識別符至少其一定址;-從該儲存媒體檢復表示相對率之數值,以活動一序列圖像,其中該率係相對於視頻幅率而言,並為視頻幅率之整數部分;-按照該檢復值,設定圖像序列活動率;-在該顯示器上表示選單按鈕,其中選單按鈕係由相當於不同形象資料的不同形象表示,視其狀態係正常、選用或作動狀態而定,又其中表示特別選單按鈕狀態之形象資料,包含一序列圖像,圖像序列係按照該相對率活動者。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項之方法,其中對選單按鈕的特殊狀態而言,只要按鈕保留在特殊狀態,即重複表示該按鈕之該圖像序列者。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項之方法,其中聲音或聲音序列係與特殊選單按鈕之特殊狀態關聯,在按鈕進入關聯狀態時,聲音或聲音序列正回放者。
- 如申請專利範圍第3項之方法,其中與選單按鈕狀態關聯之聲音,係演說序列者。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項之方法,其中該儲存媒體包括資料段,界定分頁組合,資料段含有表示選單按鈕之該資料,和表示圖像序列活動率之該數值者。
- 一種選單在螢幕上之顯示裝置,選單係由從儲存媒體讀出之選單資料加以控制,而選單包括選單按鈕,此裝置係適於表示如申請專利範圍第1項方法所請求之選單按鈕者。
- 如申請專利範圍第6項之裝置,其中對於特殊狀態,只要按鈕保留其狀態,即重複表示按鈕之圖像序列者。
- 如申請專利範圍第6項之裝置,其中聲音或聲音序列係與特殊選單按鈕的特殊狀態關聯,在按鈕進入關聯狀態時,聲音或聲音序列正回放者。
- 如申請專利範圍第6項之裝置,其中裝置從該儲存媒體檢復界定選單分頁組成之資料段,資料段含有表示選單按鈕之該資料,和表示圖像序列活動率之該數值者。
- 如申請專利範圍第6項之裝置,其中資料段包括聲音資料,對特殊選單按鈕的特殊狀態關聯之聲音者。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項之方法,其中圖像序列活動時之相對率,比視頻幅率為低者。
