Claims (11)
- 저장 매체에 저장된 비디오 데이터의 제시를 제어하기 위한 메뉴에서 메뉴 버튼(2,3)들을 표현하기 위한 방법으로서 - 상기 메뉴 버튼들은 정상, 선택 또는 작동의 3개 상태 중 하나의 상태를 가짐 -,
상기 저장 매체로부터 상기 메뉴 버튼들을 기술하는 데이터를 검색하는 단계 - 상기 데이터는 버튼의 각각의 상태에 대하여 개별 화상 데이터를 포함하고, 적어도 하나의 메뉴 버튼의 적어도 하나의 상태를 표현하는 상기 화상 데이터는 화상들의 시퀀스를 포함하고, 상기 메뉴 버튼들을 기술하는 데이터는 버튼 상태당 두 개의 영역 식별자를 더 포함하고, 상기 영역 식별자들은 버튼 화상 데이터의 영역들의 범위를 어드레싱(addressing)하는 데 적합함 - 와,
디스플레이 상에 메뉴 버튼들을 표현하는 단계 - 상기 메뉴 버튼들은 정상, 선택 또는 작동인 자신들의 상태에 좌우되어 상기 개별 화상 데이터에 대응하는 상이한 화상들에 의해 표현되고, 상기 적어도 하나의 메뉴 버튼을 표현하는 상기 버튼 화상들의 시퀀스의 상기 화상 데이터는 상기 영역 식별자들에 따라 어드레싱됨 -

버튼을 표현하는 상기 화상들의 시퀀스를 표시하는 것은 상기 버튼이 자신의 상태를 유지하는 한 반복되는 메뉴 버튼 표현 방법. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 화상들의 시퀀스가 표시되는 속도(rate)는 상기 비디오 프레임 속도에 상대적이고(relative to), 상기 속도를 정의하는 값은 상기 저장 매체로부터 검색되는 메뉴 버튼 표현 방법. - 제3항에 있어서,
상기 속도는 상기 비디오 데이터가 제시되는 비디오 프레임 속도에 의존하거나 또는 상기 비디오 프레임 속도의 (1/n)배(n은 자연수)인 메뉴 버튼 표현 방법. - 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
사운드 또는 사운드 시퀀스는 메뉴 버튼의 상태에 연관되고, 상기 사운드 또는 사운드 시퀀스는 상기 버튼이 상기 연관 상태에 들어가면 재생되는 메뉴 버튼 표현 방법. - 제5항에 있어서,
메뉴 버튼의 상태와 연관된 상기 사운드는 스피치(speech) 시퀀스인 메뉴 버튼 표현 방법. - 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
상기 메뉴 버튼들을 기술하는 데이터는 이웃 정보 데이터를 더 포함하는 메뉴 버튼 표현 방법. - 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
상기 저장 매체 상의 데이터 구조는 페이지 구성을 정의하는 세그먼트를 포함하고, 데이터 세그먼트는 상기 메뉴 버튼들을 표현하는 상기 데이터를 포함하는 메뉴 버튼 표현 방법. - 비디오 데이터와, 상기 비디오 데이터의 제시를 제어하기 위한 메뉴에 대한 메뉴 데이터를 표현하는 데이터 세그먼트를 포함한 분리형 저장 매체로서 - 상기 메뉴는 정상, 선택 또는 작동의 3개 상태 중 하나의 상태를 가질 수 있는 메뉴 버튼들을 포함함 -,
상기 메뉴 버튼들을 기술하는 데이터는 상기 버튼의 상태들의 각각에 대하여 개별 화상 데이터를 포함하고, 적어도 하나의 메뉴 버튼의 적어도 하나의 상태를 표현하는 상기 화상 데이터는 화상들의 시퀀스를 포함하고, 상기 메뉴 버튼들을 기술하는 데이터는 버튼 상태당 두 개의 영역 식별자를 포함하고, 상기 영역 식별자들은 버튼 화상 데이터의 영역들의 범위를 어드레싱하도록 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 분리형 저장 매체. - 제9항에 있어서,
상기 메뉴 버튼들을 기술하는 데이터는 이웃 정보 데이터를 더 포함하는 분리형 저장 매체. - 스크린상에 메뉴를 표시하기 위한 장치로서,
상기 메뉴는 저장 매체로부터 판독되는 메뉴 데이터에 의해 제어되고, 상기 메뉴는 메뉴 버튼들을 포함하고, 상기 장치는 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 따른 방법을 수행하도록 구성된 수단을 구비하는 장치.
