先前,謀求在二輪車用引擎上擴大孔徑時,一般之手法 係在把活塞換成大口徑者之同時,把汽缸體換成^有可收 容大口徑活塞之孔徑的汽虹體、或者將拆下之汽紅體之汽 缸孔周圍進行鏜孔擴徑。 ^圖3(a) @ 3(b)所π ’在自曲柄箱i側向汽虹蓋7側貫 通汽虹體2内而形成汽缸孔之同時,汽紅體2係在其下端2a 進入到曲柄箱1内之狀態下被固定到曲柄箱丨上。 而且,有時在該汽红孔12内,自汽缸體2至曲柄箱1内壓 入有汽缸套。 在活塞10之下部,形成有橫方向之活塞銷座i〇b,活塞 鎖15插通該活塞銷座⑽與在連桿4上端所形成之同方向之 銷孔4a(參照本發明之實施形態說明圖之圖2),以連接活塞 10與連桿4之上端。 此外,該連桿4連接到收容於前述曲柄箱〗内之曲柄軸3 之曲柄銷17上’ 前述活塞1G可在g 3(a)、圖3(b)中以鍵 線所示之上死點U與用實線所示之下死點D之間自由進 退。 Π 7645.doc 1314179 由於活塞1 0之下端及汽缸體2之下端2a為進入曲柄箱j内 之構造,所以在對圖3(a)、圖3(b)所示之引擎,進行如圖5 所示之擴大孔徑時’在更換大口徑活塞的同時,要安裝對 應邊大徑活塞的汽缸體’而且,例如,如圖4所示,應將 曲柄箱1之上部開口 la,從先前的口徑(參照圖示A)擴徑到 對應大口徑活塞10之口徑(參照圖示B),而實施穿孔作 業。

[發明之效果] 本發明因為不需拆解曲柄箱及其内部零件的拆解作業, 所以可簡單地進行二輪車用引擎之擴大孔徑。此外,因擴 大孔徑後的活塞不進入曲柄箱内,所以不需要對曲柄箱穿 孔等’不會降低曲柄箱的強度。 【實施方式】 根據圖式說明一實施形態。該實施形態係在搭載於本田 技研工業公司製[super_cub(商品名)]之C5〇e型上之空氣冷 卻式4行程單缸引擎中,為了將其排氣量從5〇cc增量至 95cc或106cc之藉由擴大孔徑之排氣量增量方法。圖3(幻、 圖3(b)顯示為擴大孔徑前之狀態,圖丨所示為擴大孔徑後之 狀態。此外,圖2為擴大孔徑後之狀態之分解圖。 此外’適用之引擎形式不受上述限定,而且,擴大孔徑 後的排氣量’可適當地進行設定’所以不被該實施形態所 限定。 擴大孔徑前之引擎構成如圖3(a)、圖3(b)所示,其係將 具有内部自由旋轉地收容有曲柄軸3之曲柄室1 6之曲柄箱 117645.doc 1314179
具有從該曲柄箱1側向蓋侧貫通之汽缸孔12之汽缸體 女#在,飞缸體2上之汽缸蓋7,經由複數根雙頭螺栓 (螺栓軸)6’以及塾圈13、14等連接為一體者。 此外,在曲柄箱1上安裝汽缸體2及汽缸蓋7的方法,可 根據引擎的形式採用通用的方法。 在前述汽缸孔12内所配置之活塞1〇 ’該活㈣與連桿4 之連接’及其他附屬品等之構成與上述先前例中說明之構 成相同^ 此外,圖中用鏈線顯示 實線顯示之活塞1 0位置表 之活塞1 0位置表示上死點U,用 不下死點D,藉由在活塞10上部 之混合氣的燃燒 活塞10在該上死點U與下死點D之間進 退,藉由該進退經由連桿4賦予曲柄軸3旋轉力。 以下說明增加排氣量時之作業。
首先,擰鬆拔出雙頭螺栓6,拆下汽缸體2上的汽缸蓋 7’然後從曲柄箱ljL拆下汽缸體2。此時,因為活塞_ 於連接在連桿4上的狀態,所以該活塞1〇在汽缸㈣内滑 動之同時,將汽缸體2向從曲柄箱!上抽離的方向拔出。 然後,將扣接連桿4與活塞1〇之活塞銷15拔出,拆下活 塞10。取下簧環15a則可拔出活塞銷15。 繼之,準備具有比拆下之汽缸體2的汽缸孔12之孔徑大 的汽&孔12的汽紅體2。並準備具備對應該大孔徑汽紅孔 12之活塞環〗〗的大口徑活塞〗〇。 新女裝的汽缸體2如圖i所示,其下端2a在曲柄箱i上面 接於開口 la的周邊部,成為可不從該開口 u進入曲柄箱工 117645.doc 10 1314179 内的狀態下安裘。 * ^ #曲柄勒1上部突出之連桿4的上端,經由前述活塞銷15 =文旋别述大口徑活塞10(參照圖2),使該活塞1〇—邊在前 述大孔徑汽缸孔12内滑動,一邊經由墊圈Μ把汽缸體2配 置在曲柄箱1上。該大口徑活塞1〇如圖3(a)、圖3(b)所示, 八刖述拆下之活塞1〇相比,活塞裙i〇a的長度短。 最後,在該汽红體2上經由墊圈13,酉己置汽缸蓋7,經由 雙頭螺拴6,連接前述曲柄箱丨、汽缸體2及汽缸蓋7。 根:此種構成,如圖1所示,活塞1〇處於下死點D的狀態 下,前述活塞10之活塞裙1〇a的下端1〇c,停留在汽缸體2 内,不進入曲柄箱1内。因此’無需在曲柄箱1上實施穿孔 作業。 此外,根據該排氣量增量方法,藉由汽缸體2的拆卸或 更換、更換活塞10,彳製作對應比已安裝之活塞1〇之口徑 大的大口徑(超大尺寸)活塞10的引擎,因此亦可在引擎搭 載於二輪車上的狀態下作業。 上述實施形態中,在進行引擎之擴大孔徑時,要另外準 備具有比拆下之汽缸體2之汽缸孔12孔徑大的汽叙孔12的 汽缸體2,但若該拆下之汽缸體2之汽缸孔12周圍的壁厚尺 寸,有足夠之厚度且在強度上允許時,亦可在拆下之汽缸 體2之汽缸孔12的周圍進行鏜孔,形成對應擴大孔徑$之 大口徑活塞1 0之汽缸孔12。 此時,在擴大孔徑前的狀態下,若汽缸體2之下端h :、 進入曲柄箱i内之構造時’藉由在上述汽紅孔12周圍二 117645.doc 11 1314179 鏜孔的同時切除其進入部公 P刀使其成為在安裝到曲柄箱1 的狀態下,其下端2a不從開口㈣入曲柄箱】内的狀態。 若如此,則與上述實施形態同樣,無需在曲柄Μ上實施 穿孔作業。 而且’即使在上述實施形態以外的:輪車用引擎上,無 須贅言亦可適用本排氣吾描θ +"'、 个徘轧里増1方法,適用本排氣量増量 法不因2行程、4行程之萁, # 差別、八缸之缸數、及閥門動作機
