1239969 A7 B7 五、發明説明(彳) 本發明係關於聚酯樹脂發泡片,其可熱封,並適於製造 飲料及食品容器,容器之形狀可藉摺疊發展之設計可藉擠 壓印上。 本發明包括獲自該片之容器。其特別關於一種片,具有 氣體障壁性,適於製造飲料如果汁、中架-生命牛奶、茶等 之容器。 所用之材料現仍製造飲料及食品容器如果汁、牛奶等之 容器,實質上包括提供容器機械性特別是剛硬性之紙板之 功能層及有些情況藉聚乙烯薄膜或類似聚合物質黏至紙板 一層塗鋁之薄片在與飲料或食品接觸之側上。 用該多層物質製成之容器由於各層之不同化學性質,難 以再循環。 由可得再循環之節省觀點及生態學觀點而言,形成食品 或飲料容器之物質之再循環能力相當重要。 具有可再循環物質之可能性在此部門為極重要題目。 由聚合物質製成之飲料及液體之容器存在,但無法提供 可與紙板相比之剛硬性特徵,因此,其無法適當製成剛硬 容器。用該材料獲得之容器歸於小袋類別。 嘗試使用聚合物質獲得具有所需剛硬性之容器迄今仍未 成功。 容器内之剛硬性為壁厚度之功能,更精確地隨壁厚度之 立方.體改變。 聚合物質如聚烯烴供製造具有充分剛硬性之容器之用途 意味一種不甚經濟之厚度,且無法加工,此乃由於容器關 _zAz_ 本紙張尺度適用中國國家標準(CNS) A4規格(210 X 297公釐) 1239969 A7

可得知半剛硬層合體,具有厚度為0·5至1·5 mm ,包含一具 有密度為0.7至1 g/cm3之聚酯樹脂發泡體層,其上黏有一不 同於聚酯發泡體層之聚合物質所製成之具有氣體障壁性之 層。 裝 層合體用於由包裝件之熱形成之製備。 包含一聚酯發泡體層之物質可折痕,以藉根據擠壓在物 訂 貝上之設計摺疊而形成容器之形狀在專利文件中並非習 知。 單層或多層聚合物質欲與設定以藉摺疊容器形狀發展之 設計折痕之能力,及物質根據該設計之可摺性,對飲料及 食口p容為之製造在用於折痕及摺疊技術時構成必要條件。 若壓在物質上之設計仍長期穩定時,物質適於折痕,且 若壓印該設計時,會損害摺疊物質之可能不會發生。 另外,物質必須可熱封,俾可使容器之關閉成為可能。 頃發現聚酯樹脂發泡之聚合物質,其適於製造飲料及食 品容器,滿足上述變皺條件,且其呈現剛硬性足以取代紙 板。 本發明之發泡物質包含,或由實質上非晶(包含低於5% 1239969 A7 B7 五、發明説明(4 )
Roll為Nurol S.p.A·之註冊商標)。 在::障壁性之膜黏在片上之情況下’此膜之未處理側 為與容器内側之飲料及食品接觸者。 、 亦可能的是,此為各種條体土 Λ处 / θ分搜彳巾件足功叱,例如用油墨 刷,以使用對應於上述條件之膜作為具有發泡片之 黏附膜之層作為内層。 四’ 具有障壁性之膜或其他膜在發泡片上之黏附可根據習知 方法藉膠凝或熱層合或藉共擠壓完成。 本發明之發泡片具有厚度在〇·2與3腿之間,最佳在㈠ 與L5 _之間。片材之密度低於7〇〇kg/m3,較佳在_ 500 kg/m3,最佳在1〇〇與2〇〇 kg之間。 亦可用不用於聚酯樹脂之可熱封聚合物層覆蓋發泡聚酯 片。 發泡片之製備係根據習知擠壓-膨脹法實施。 較佳方法揭示於USP 5362763,其說明併入本文供參考。 其他方法示於USP 5362763,其說明亦併入供參考。 發泡片之剛硬性為其厚度之功能··其隨厚度而增加(不成 比例)。操機填料之使用(可使用高達約2 〇重量%)容許片剛 硬性之增加。填料之例為氧化矽、氧化鋁、二氧化鈦、碳 酸鈣等。 容器之14係根據習知方法完成,藉壓在片上之設計之 折痕摺疊,設定以發展容器之形狀。 谷芬根據其終端用途具有不同形狀及容積。可使用立方 形、橢圓形或梯形。通常飲料及果汁之容器之容積在〇 2與 1239969 A7 _______B7 五、發明説明(c ) 2公升之間。 用於發泡片製備之聚酯可藉芳香二羧酸,較佳為對酞酸 與2至12個碳原子之二醇如乙二醇、丨,4_ 丁烷-二醇及丨,4· 二羥甲基環己烷之縮聚作用獲得,較佳選自聚酞酸次乙酯 共聚物’其中高達2 0莫耳%自對酞酸衍生之單元係由自異 酞酸及/或萘-二羧酸衍生之單元所取代。 為了提供生物降解性及/或堆肥性至發泡片,用以製備片 之聚酯樹脂係與1 〇至3 5重量%可生物降解之脂肪聚酯樹脂 混合’混合物係在四羧酸,較佳為芳香族之二酐存在下以 固態實施聚加成之反應。 均苯四酸酐為較佳二酐,並以樹脂全部量之〇 〇5至2重量 %之量使用。 聚加成於固態之反應係在約15〇至22〇 c下實施一段時 間,二酐濃度足以獲得樹脂特性黏度值高於〇·7 d"以在2 5 °C下於60/40重量之苯酚與四氯乙烷之混合物内測定之黏 度)及溶化強度之值足夠高以容許樹脂之發泡。 特性黏度通常為0.8與1.2 dl/g之間。 適當溶物強度值高於8厘牛頓,較佳高於2〇厘牛頓。 熔物強度之測定係根據US 5,442,381所示之方法(其說明 併入本文供參考)使用Geottfert毛細電流計實施。 脂肪聚酯樹脂係藉具有2至22個碳原子之羥基酸或其内酯 或内交酯之縮聚,或藉具有2至22個碳原子之脂肪二羧酸 與具有2至22個碳原子之芳香二醇之縮聚獲得。聚己内酯 為較佳聚酯。上述聚酯具有可生物降解之特性。 本紙張尺度適用中國國家標準(CNS) A4規格(210 X 297公梦) 1239969 A7 B7 五、發明説明(7 ) 容器藉熱封關閉。關閉物保持密封且容易藉撕裂、切割 等方式打開。容器在用於堆肥法之正常操作條件下實施堆 肥,導致可堆肥。 實例4 具有實例3特性之發泡P E T片係用可與容器之再循環性配 合之膠予以膠黏至厚度15微米之Nu Roll金屬化膜(Nurol S·ρ.A·) 〇 片用於製造液體之容器。 _- 10 - 本紙張尺度適用中國國家標準(CNS) A4規格(210 X 297公釐)
