492899 A7 B7 五、發明說明(1 ) [產業上之利用領域] 本發明係關於摩擦攪拌接合方法,尤其是重疊面的摩 擦攪泮接合方法。 [先前之技術] . 摩擦攪拌接合方法,係爲:一邊在接合部旋轉插入之 圓棒(稱爲旋轉工具),一邊沿著接合線移動,並將接合部發 熱、軟化、塑性流動、固相接合之方法。旋轉工具係由大 徑部及小徑部所組成。將小徑部插入應接合之構件,並將 大徑部的端面接觸前述構件。在小徑部設有螺紋。 且,在應接合之2個構件的旋轉工具的插入側設有凸 部,以此凸部的金屬使塡平2個構件之間的間隙。將旋轉 工具的大徑部放入凸部內。 這些係顯示於特開¥ 1 1 -90655號公報(USP6050474)。 [本發明所欲解決的課題] 因此,本發明的課題,便在於提供一種摩擦攪拌接合 方法。使摩擦攪拌接合,也可以利用在重疊面的接合。將 重疊構件摩擦攪拌接合的話,容易在重疊面產生龜裂。將 這顯示於第4圖。第4(A)圖係顯示摩擦攪拌接合途中的縱 斷面圖,第4(B)圖係顯示摩擦攪拌接合後的縱斷面圖。第 4(B)圖係爲模式圖。如此,對於重疊構件,從上方側插入 旋轉工具50並摩擦攪拌接合。以斜線顯示之攪拌領域及2 個構件的重疊面成爲上方側隆起的V型凹口 B。 本紙張尺度適用中國國家標準(CNS)A4規格(210 X 297公釐) (請先閱讀背面之注意事項再填寫本頁) · n ·ϋ n n —1 1 n · n 1« ·ϋ «ϋ amt Mm— n 經濟部智慧財產局員工消費合作社印製 4 492899 A7 B7 五、發明說明(2 ) 本發明的目的,係是提供抑制在重疊面發生龜裂之摩 擦攪拌接合方法。 (請先閱讀背面之注意事項再填寫本頁) [用以解決課題的手段] 爲解決上述的課題,本發明之特徵爲:重疊第1構件 及第2構件,在前述第1構件的前述崖疊面上沿著摩擦攪拌 接合的方向具有溝,以具有比前述溝的寬要大徑的小徑部 之旋轉工具,沿著前述溝將前述重疊面摩擦攪拌接合。 [實施例] 茲佐以圖面說明本發明之摩擦攪拌接合方法。將本發 明的一實施例利用第1至3圖來說明。第3圖係顯示斜線的 攪拌領域之模式圖。重疊板10及板20。在板10的重疊(上 方側的面)具有實質的四角形的溝1 2。在板20的上面具有 凸部22。板10搭載於架台100,與板10 —起固定在板1〇 。板10、20爲壓出型材。 經濟部智慧財產局員工消費合作社印製 摩擦攪拌接合係從上方的板20的上方插入旋轉工具50 進行。旋轉工具50在大徑部5 1的先端設有小徑部52。在 小徑部52設有螺紋。將旋轉工具50的中心插入凸部22的 寬的中心。在此中心具有溝1 2的中心。大徑部5 1的徑比凸 部22的寬要小。溝12的寬比大徑部51的徑及小徑部52的 徑要小。 抵接摩擦攪拌接合,將大徑部5 1的下端位置於板20的 凸部側的面的延長線及凸部22的頂部之間。將小徑部52的 本紙張尺度適用中國國家標準(CNS)A4規格(210 X 297公釐) -5- 492899 A7 _ B7 五、發明說明(3 ) 先端比溝1 2的底部更深地插入。在此狀態,一邊旋轉旋轉 工具5 0,一邊沿著應接合之線移動。旋轉工具5 0的軸心之 小徑部52係位置於大徑部5 1側之移動方向的前方。 由此,因爲具有成爲溝1 2之空間,所以攪拌領域的壓 力不會過大,而抑制前述V型凹口 B的發生。 然而,溝12藉由攪拌被塡平。凸部22的金屬成爲塡平 溝1 2之金屬的原料。無凸部22的情況時板20上面雖被削 去而變薄,但可以利用凸部22補足,其結果可作成薄的板 厚的。 本發明的技術範圍,不限定於申請專利範圍的各項所 記載之文句或爲了解決課題的手段之項所記載之文句,也 包含本行業者容易將其置換之範圍的。 [發明之效果] 依據本發明,可以得到輕量且良好的摩擦攪拌接合。 [圖面之簡單說明] 第1圖係爲有關本發明的一實施例的接合部之縱斷面 圖。 第2圖係顯示第1圖的接合途中之縱斷面圖。 第3圖係顯示第1圖的接合後之縱斷面圖。 第4圖係顯示先前的接合方法之縱斷面圖。 [圖號說明] 本紙張尺度適用中國國家標準(CNS)A4規格(210 X 297公釐) (請先閱讀背面之注意事項再填寫本頁)
