能用於製作自立包装容器壁之具有高度材料剛度之包裝材 料。採用所謂夾蹰结櫞,亦即係二材料醑相互配置成較大 距離時,如果二外方材料層1,2具有處於應力之不易伸長 之高彈性樺數,將達成所需之軸度。材料之幾何形狀應為 外方材料層1、2固定成互相成最大距雠,此點藉將室4充 注加壓氣體而達成。當包裝材料還受彎曲負荷時,過度Ε 力防止材料躧處於對包裝材料缌剛度極不利之摺麯及髯曲 之壓力應變。 多個層之二外方材料曆〗、2時,包裝材料之總特性當然能 最適宜化。理想情況為在每一材料醑選用高彌性模數之一 中心層,及中心曆之兩面塗佈具有最佳密合特性之外方層 。例如,定向聚合物膜一般均具有高彌性權敝*但較不遴 於熱密合。可用於此方面之此類膜之槊例為聚酯,聚醯胺 或聚丙烯。採用此類_作為之外方材料層1、2之中心_部 份時,將可密合或易熔熱熔塑髎如聚乙烯之鼷加在定向聚 根撺本發明之包装材料之結構由於幾何形狀配合所包拮 材料之特性,且各材料可極薄。將獲致所需之剛度。舉例 言之’羥證實僅10微米厚度之定向聚酯產生具有製作1公 升之平行六邊鸦包装容器之充分剛度。然而,實用中係利 用略厚之材料,例如1 5與2 0微米之間。此例中,容横1公 升之平行六邊體包裝之塑膠材料總爾最為約10公克,相較 下,1公升容積之瓶之缌塑膠爾最為約4 〇公克。 較佳者,用Κ充注宽4竑支持室癍於某一過度壓力之氣 轉為空氣,但亦可使用他榷適宜氣體如氮氣或二氣化碳。 如前文所述,氣體部份用於保持包裝材料之外方材料層1 、2互相成距離,及部份用於防止材料層(材料彎曲付處 於壓縮應力下)摺麴在一起而致材料扁縮C後一目的僅在 氣餺處於至少約0 . 5巴之過度颳力始能達成。增加氣體壓 力進一步減少材料彎曲扁縮之危險,但其本身並不使材料 更具剛性。視包裝材料之尺度、完成之包裝之大小及所需 之包裝酎久性而定,氣體可處於高達約10巴之過度颳力。 然而,大多數情況下> 2與3巴間之遇度颸力g卩令人滿意。 如前文所述,位於二外方材料霸1、2間之室4被例如直 堞形密合3之適宜圓察分成互相連通之長橢_形通埴形式 之大數最小室式小囊 6。在不税難本發明概念之原刖及範 圃下,各小囊可具有任何選用構型*但如果需自包裝材料 中。包装容器8之各壁板9之間具有揹#線1〇形式之角隅 ’如阖3所示,此等摺《線係將在不间壁板9上界定小囊 6之盲埭形密合3互相傾置達對應於一小曩之蕙度一半之 距離而形成。一壁板與一相鄰壁板間遇渡區中小囊所形成 之充注氣體“柱”之1徑因而減至~半,使沿摺β埭1 〇之 材料具有較小抗彎曲力。材料7因此可贿利製成長方形斷 面之包装容器。除在互相偏置之各姐小囊6間之過渡區形
