Description
本發明是有關於一種基材及塗佈組成物,且特別是有關於一種可列印基材及列印用塗佈組成物。
傳統的傳統平版印刷、數位列印及/或噴墨列印是將圖案層印在木漿紙上。然而,因應不同的需求(如:防水性、防塵性、防蟲性等),塑膠紙也有其必要性。因此,如何製作出適宜的(如:適於列印或適於被回收)塑膠紙,已成目前研究的課題。
本發明提供一種列印用塗佈組成物,其適於製作可列印基材。
本發明提供一種可列印基材,其適於應用於列印。
本發明的可列印基材包括高分子基材以及塗層。塗層覆蓋於高分子基材上。塗層厚度介於0.1微米至30微米。塗層的表面阻抗值介於10
7歐姆至10

本發明的列印用塗佈組成物包括聚酯樹脂、交聯劑、粒子以及添加劑。以一特定單位的列印用塗佈組成物的重量計,列印用塗佈組成物包括50wt%~80wt%的聚酯樹脂、0.05wt%~30wt%的交聯劑、0.1wt%~30wt%的粒子以及0.05wt%~10wt%的添加劑。
在本發明的一實施例中,粒子的粒徑介於0.05微米至3微米。

本發明的列印用塗佈組成物(coating composition for printing)適於被塗佈於基材的表面上。然後,在基材表面上的列印用塗佈組成物可以藉由適當的方式(如:加熱、照光、靜置或上述之組合(如:加熱後靜置))被固化(curing),以形成塗層。基材以及位於基材表面上的塗層可以適於列印。也就是說,請參照圖1,可列印基材100可以包括由如前述之列印用塗佈組成物所形成的塗層120以及前述的基材110。圖案層30適於被藉由雷射印刷、UV印刷、一般傳統平版印刷、凹版印刷、噴墨印刷或一般常見的印刷方式被列印於塗層120上。
在一實施例中,前述的塗佈方式可以包括線上塗佈(in-line coating)或線外塗佈(off-line coating)。
可列印基材可以適用於一般常用的列印。舉例而言,可列印基材可以藉由市面上常用的印表機或印刷機進行列印。
在本實施例中,可列印基材的最高可列印溫度可以介於100°C~190°C,且以ASTM D3359的標準測試方法對列印於塗層上的圖案層進行附著性測試(俗稱:百格測試),可列印基材的附著性測試結果可以為3B至5B。也就是說,可以藉由一般相同或相似於紙列印(paper printing)方式,對可列印基材進行列印。
在本實施例中,基材可以是高分子基材。舉例而言,基材可以包括聚酯膜基材。
在一實施例中,適用於做為基材的聚酯材料可以包括原生聚酯(virgin polyester)、回收聚酯(recycled polyester)或上述之組成。前述或後述的聚酯也可以例如是聚對苯二甲酸丙二酯、聚對苯二甲酸丁二酯、聚萘二甲酸乙二酯或上述之組合。在一實施例中,聚酯優選為聚對苯二甲酸乙二酯、聚對苯二甲酸丙二酯或上述之組合。此外,也可以使用共聚物,其特別指的是可通過使用兩種以上的二羧酸及/或兩種以上的二醇成分得到的共聚物。
在本實施例中,塗層的厚度介於0.1微米(micrometer;µm)至30微米。
在本實施例中,基材的厚度基本上大於塗層的厚度。基材的厚度可以依據使用上的需求而加以調整,於本發明並不加以限定。舉例而言,在一般用於A4大小的列印用途上,可列印基材的厚度(即,基材的厚度加塗層的厚度)可以約為0.01公分(centimeter;cm)至0.015公分。
在本實施例中,塗層的表面阻抗值介於10
7(可計為:10^7)歐姆(ohm;Ω)至10
12(可計為:10^12)歐姆。如此一來,在進行連續的列印時,較不會(並非指可完全避免)有類似於卡紙(paper jam)的情況。
在本實施例中,塗層可以包括聚酯塗層(即,所使用的列印用塗佈組成物包括聚酯樹脂),且高分子基材為聚酯膜基材。如此一來,可列印基材適於在其塗層與基材彼此不分離的狀態下,進行一整體的回收步驟。
在一實施例中,前述「一整體的回收」方式例如是去除廢棄的可列印基材上的物件(如:標籤、針物及/或黏物)。接著,在塗層與基材仍未彼此分離的狀態下,藉由物理性的方式(如:剪、裁、折、碎或其他適宜的方式)處理前述的廢棄聚酯材料,以形成包括粉碎性聚酯材料的回收混合物;然後,利用適當的的方式(如:浮選)將粉碎性聚酯材料予以分離出;之後,可以將被分離出的粉碎性聚酯材料進行乾燥,即可獲得處理過的回收聚酯材料。回收聚酯材料可以藉由適當地方式進行處理(如:申請號為110113065的台灣專利申請案),以形成適當的可再利用聚酯材料。
在本實施例中,以一特定單位的塗佈組成物的重量計,列印用塗佈組成物包括50重量百分比(wt%)~80wt%的聚酯樹脂、0.05wt%~30wt%的交聯劑、0.1wt%~30wt%的粒子以及0.05wt%~10wt%的添加劑。
在一實施例中,前述「一特定單位」的方式例如是取一適當體積或一適當重量的塗佈組成物;然後,對該適當體積或該適當重量的塗佈組成物進行前述各組成的比例進行量測(如:光譜的量測),以獲得前述各組成的重量比例(如:藉由特定光譜區域的範圍進行推算)。在一實施例中,前述「一特定單位」的方式例如是取一適當體積或一適當重量的塗佈組成物;然後,將該適當體積或該適當重量的塗佈組成物中的其他特定物(即,除了聚酯樹脂、交聯劑、粒子或添加劑之物,如:溶劑)進行部分性地或全部性地移除(如:以加熱的方式部分性地或全部性地移除溶劑);之後,對移除其他特定物後的混合物進行前述各組成的比例進行量測,以獲得前述各組成的重量比例。也就是說,在列印用塗佈組成物中,以下成分具有以下的重量比例關係:
聚酯樹脂:交聯劑:粒子:添加劑≈50~80:0.05~30:0.1~30:0.05~10。
在一實施例中,聚酯樹脂可為一種以上的二元酸與一種以上的二元醇所形成。
二元酸可為芳香族二元酸、脂環族二元酸或上述之組合。芳香族二元酸例如包括:對苯二甲酸、間苯二甲酸、鄰苯二甲酸、萘二甲酸、二苯基碸二羧酸、二苯醚二羧酸、二苯基酮二羧酸、苯基茚滿二羧酸、間苯二甲酸磺酸鈉及二溴對苯二甲酸。脂環族二元酸的例如包括:草酸、丁二酸、己二酸、壬二酸、癸二酸或二聚酸。
二元醇可為芳香族二元醇、脂肪族二元醇、脂環族二元醇或上述之組合。芳香族二元醇例如包括:萘二酚、2,2雙(4-羥基二苯基)丙烷、2,2-雙(4-羥基乙氧基苯基)丙烷、雙(4-羥基苯基)碸或對苯二酚。脂肪族二元醇例如包括:乙二醇、丙二醇、1,4-丁二醇、己二醇、新戊二醇或二乙二醇。脂環族二元醇例如包括:環己烷二甲醇或環己二醇。
在一實施例中,聚酯樹脂可為聚對苯二甲酸乙二酯(PET)、聚對苯二甲酸丙二醇酯(PPT)、聚對苯二甲酸丁二酯(PBT)、聚萘二甲酸乙二醇酯(PEN)、聚萘二甲酸丁二醇酯(PBN)、聚對苯二甲酸環己烷二甲醇酯(PCT)、聚碳酸酯(PC)、聚芳酯或上述之組合。;較佳地,聚酯樹脂可為聚對苯二甲酸乙二酯(PET)。
在一實施例中,印用塗佈組成物不包括聚氨酯樹脂或壓克力樹脂。在以聚酯膜基材作為基材的方式之下,若印用塗佈組成物包括聚氨酯樹脂或壓克力樹脂,可能會增加回收困難度或複雜度。
在一實施例中,交聯劑可以包括三聚氰胺樹脂、三聚氰胺變性樹脂、環氧樹脂、碳二醯亞胺系交聯劑、噁唑啉系交聯劑或上述之組合。
在一實施例中,粒子的粒徑介於0.05微米至3微米。粒子的粒徑基本上小於所對應形成的塗層的厚度。若粒子的粒徑大於所對應形成的塗層的厚度,則可能會使所形成的可列印基材看起來較不平整。
在一實施例中,粒子可以包括有機粒子、無機粒子或上述之組合。
在一實施例中,有機粒子包括由下列單體所形成的聚合物粒子或共聚物粒子:苯乙烯類(如:苯乙烯、乙烯基苯或氯苯乙烯)、單烯烴類(如:乙烯、丙烯、丁烯或異丁烯)、烯基酯類(如:乙酸乙烯酯、丙酸乙烯酯、苯甲酸乙烯酯、丁酸乙烯酯、丙烯酸甲酯、丙烯酸乙酯或丙烯酸丁酯)、烯基醚類(如:乙烯基甲基醚、乙烯基乙基醚或乙烯基丁基醚)、乙烯基甲酮類(如:乙烯基甲基甲酮或乙烯基己基甲酮)、二烯類單體(如:異戊二烯)或上述之組合。
在一實施例中,無機粒子的材質包括雲母、滑石、碳酸鎂、碳酸鈣、碳酸鋇、硫酸鋇、硫酸鈣、硫酸鎂、氧化鋅、二氧化矽、二氧化鈦、氧化鋁或上述之組合。
在一實施例中,粒子可以提升圖案層與塗層之間的結合力。
在一實施例中,粒子可以降低卡紙的情況。
在一實施例中,添加劑可以包括觸媒、共溶劑、助劑或上述之組合。
在一實施例中,觸媒可以提升列印用塗佈組成物被固化時的反應速率。觸媒可以包括無機物質、鹽類、有機物質、鹼性物質、酸性物質或上述之組合。
在一實施例中,共溶劑可以調控列印用塗佈組成物被固化時液態成份的揮發速率。共溶劑可以包括甲醇、乙醇、正丙醇、異丙醇、異丁醇、丁基纖維素或上述之組合。
在一實施例中,助劑可提升所形成的塗層的潤濕性及/或平坦度。助劑包括矽助劑、氟助劑、矽氟助劑或上述之組合。矽助劑可選自畢克化學公司(BYK-Gardner Gmbh),型號為BYK307、BYK325、BYK331、BYK380N、BYK381或上述之一種以上之助劑商品。氟助劑可選自3M公司,型號為FC-4430或FC-4432之商品;美國杜邦公司(DuPont),型號為Zonyl FSN-100之商品;日本大金公司(ダイキン工業株式会社;Daikin Industries, Ltd.),型號為DSX之商品;或是上述之一種以上之助劑商品。矽氟助劑可選自畢克化學公司,型號為BYK346、BYK347、BYK348或上述之一種以上之助劑商品。
在一實施例中,印用塗佈組成物更包括溶劑。溶劑包括甲乙酮(Methyl Ethyl Ketone;MEK)、甲苯或上述之組合。
在一實施例中,列印用塗佈組成物更包括表面處理劑。表面處理劑包括含矽化合物、界面活性劑或上述之組合。
在一實施例中,含矽化合物包括矽烷化合物、聚矽烷化合物或上述之組合。
在一實施例中,界面活性劑包括陰離子型界面活性劑、非離子型界面活性劑或上述之組合。
在一實施例中,陰離子型界面活性劑可選自中日公司之甲基苯硫酸銨鹽、聚乙二醇壬酚醚硫酸銨鹽、聚乙二醇壬酚醚硫酸鈉鹽、聚乙二醇辛酚醚銨鹽或縮合聚乙二醇多環壬酚醚甲基丙烯酸硫酸酯;或是,Uniqema公司,型號為Maxemul 6106、6112;或上述之一種以上的界面活性劑。
在一實施例中,非離子型界面活性劑可選自磐亞公司的聚乙二醇壬烷酚醚或聚乙二醇烷基醚;或是,中日公司的聚乙二醇硬酯酸醚、聚乙二醇壬酚醚、聚乙二醇辛酚醚、聚乙二醇癸基醚、聚乙二醇三癸基醚或聚乙二醇月桂醚;或是,Uniqema公司,型號為Maxemul 5010、5011;或上述之一種以上的界面活性劑。
綜上所述,本發明的可列印基材可以具有較佳的可列印性。並且,本發明的可列印基材較適於被回收或較容易進行回收處理。

實例及比較例
]
於以下表示實例及比較例,對於本發明作具體地說明,但本發明應不受到下述實例所限定。
各實例及比較例可以為藉由對應的列印用塗佈組成物,並以上述的方式形成對應的可列印基材。差別在於:如以下[表1]所示地調整各列印用塗佈組成物中對應的成分(如:樹脂、交聯劑、溶劑、表面處理劑、填充粒子或添加劑)的相對重量比例關係。
對[表1]中[實例一]至[實例四]及[比較例一]至[比較例四]的可列印基材進行評價。評價的項目包括塗層外觀、聚酯塗層、防水性、列印效果、色墨附著性以及連續列印測試。
塗層外觀:採用人體視覺在強光環境下觀察對應的可列印基材的塗層外觀。若視覺評價無異常,則評價佳。
聚酯塗層:聚酯塗層的有無。有:以符號○表示;無:以符號X表示。
防水性測試1:將對應的可列印基材裁切成A4標準尺寸大小,並在進行滿版列印(full page printing)後,浸泡在水中24小時;之後,與前述滿版列印進行比較,觀察是否色墨暈開。防水性測試2:將對應的可列印基材裁切成A4標準尺寸大小,並在進行滿版列印後,用濕紙巾擦拭列印面10次;之後,與前述滿版列印進行比較,觀察色墨是否脫落。若上述防水性測試1之測試結果為無色墨暈開,且上述防水性測試2之測試結果為無脫落,則評價佳;反之(即,不符合前述測試結果的其中之一),則評價不佳。
列印效果:以一般市售的列印機台對對應的可列印基材進行滿版列印,觀察色墨是否能完全地覆蓋於塗層上。列印機台例如但不限於:傳統平版印刷機、數位噴墨機台HP 5800、數位電子油墨機台HP Indigo系列、乾粉雷射印表機:HP CP1000系列。若色墨能完全地覆蓋於塗層上,則評價佳。若色墨不能完全地覆蓋於塗層上,則評價不佳。
色墨附著性測試1:將對應的可列印基材進行滿版列印後,以3M Scotch膠帶黏貼一列印處,並透過手指指壓膠帶黏貼處5次,以加強膠帶黏貼於膜表面;隨後,快速地撕掉膠帶,並觀察列印色墨是否脫落。色墨附著性測試2:採用美國材料與試驗協會(American Society for Testing and Materials;ASTM)之ASTM D3359附著力測試標準,對對應的可列印基材進行測試。若上述色墨附著性測試1之測試結果為完全無脫落,且上述色墨附著性測試2之測試結果為3B至5B,則評價佳;反之(即,不符合前述測試結果的其中之一),則評價不佳。
連續列印測試1:將對應的可列印基材進行連續10次的滿版列印。連續列印測試2:將對應的可列印基材進行連續10次的空白列印。連續列印測試3:將對應的可列印基材進行5回的滿版/空白交錯列印。若上述連續列印測試1之測試結果為完全無卡紙,上述連續列印測試2之測試結果為完全無卡紙,且上述連續列印測試3之測試結果為完全無卡紙,則評價佳;反之(即,不符合前述測試結果的其中之一),則評價不佳。

Claims (10)
- 一種可列印基材,包括: 高分子基材;以及 塗層,覆蓋於所述高分子基材上,其中: 所述塗層厚度介於0.1微米至30微米; 所述塗層的表面阻抗值介於10 7歐姆至10 12歐姆; 所述可列印基材的最高可列印溫度介於100°C~190°C;且 於在所述可列印基材的所述塗層上進行列印後,針對所述可列印基材的附著性測試結果為3B至5B。
- 如請求項1所述的可列印基材,其中所述塗層包括聚酯塗層。
- 如請求項1所述的可列印基材,其中所述高分子基材包括聚酯膜基材。
- 如請求項1所述的可列印基材,其中: 所述塗層包括聚酯塗層; 所述高分子基材為聚酯膜基材;且 所述可列印基材適於在所述塗層與所述高分子基材彼此不分離的狀態下進行一整體的回收。
- 一種列印用塗佈組成物,其中以一特定單位的所述列印用塗佈組成物的重量計,所述列印用塗佈組成物包括: 50wt%~80wt%的聚酯樹脂; 0.05wt%~30wt%的交聯劑; 0.1wt%~30wt%的粒子;以及 0.05wt%~10wt%的添加劑。
- 如請求項5所述的列印用塗佈組成物,其中所述粒子的粒徑介於0.05微米至3微米。
- 如請求項5所述的列印用塗佈組成物,更包括: 表面處理劑。
- 如請求項5所述的列印用塗佈組成物,更包括: 溶劑。
- 如請求項5所述的列印用塗佈組成物,不包括: 聚氨酯樹脂;或 壓克力樹脂。
- 一種可列印基材,包括: 高分子基材;以及 包括由如請求項5至9中任一項之列印用塗佈組成物所形成的塗層,覆蓋於所述高分子基材上。
