Неприспособленность двигателей внутреннего горени , в частности двигател  Дизел  к т говым услови м , заставл ет снабжать тепловозы , т.-е. локомотивы с такими двигател ми, различного рода передачами от вала двигател  к ос м спаренных копес,удовлетвор ющими всем услови м локомотивной работы . К числу таких передач относитс  прежде всего передача электрическим током, хот  весьма эластична , но т жела  и дорога, затем передача жидкост ми и тазапн под давлением.
