Description
The invention relates to the metallurgy of non-ferrous metals and alloys, namely to the smelting and refining of zinc alloys.
The purpose of the invention is to increase the degree of refining and reduce the loss of waste.
и кали ,дополнительно содержат дега- зер при следующем соотношении ингредиентов , мас.%:The invention is achieved by the fact that the flux for treating zinc alloys, compounds of calcium, sodium and potassium chlorides, additionally contain a degrader in the following ratio of ingredients, wt.%:
15-25Calcium Chloride 30-60 Sodium Chloride 20-25 Potassium Chloride 5-20 Degazer15-25
Potassium chloride and sodium chloride lower the melting point of the flux, calcium chloride has high reducing properties.

I .The tablet degazer has high refining properties, in addition, it degasses the metal. I.
5 In the laboratory, five mixtures were prepared as shown in Table. 1 (2, 3 and 4 - the proposed formulations; 1 and 5 - outside the proposed composition).
When testing, the proposed composition in the amount of 0.1% was mixed into the alloy TsAM 4-1 for 2-3 minutes at 480-500 C. Then the slag was removed. The refining process was terminated after stopping the bubbling of the metal.
The processing efficiency was tested according to the results of studies of samples 20 for density, the presence of intermetallic inclusions, as well as for the amount of slag removed and the metal content in it.

The results of the experimental tests (averages) are given in
2.tab. 2
From the data table. 2 that the treatment of the alloy with the proposed composition (experiments 2, 3 and A) significantly reduces the loss of metal with slag (from 60 to 15%), the density increases. No intermetallic inclusions were found on the microsections.
