Abstract

يتعلق الاختراع الراهـن بتزويـد تقنية تستخدم قنـاة مقوسـة curved channel لها شكل هندسي لقناة منحنية curvilinear channel geometry مفصلة لإدخال قوى على جسيمات طافية بشكل متعادل neutrally buoyant particles تتدفق في مائع لتسهيل الفصل المحسّن لهذه الجسيمات من المائع. وعندما تتدفق هذه الجسيمات الطافية بشكل متعادل خلال القناة، تؤدي ظاهرة تقلص أنبوبي tabular pinch effect على الأقل إلى تدفق الجسيمات في نطاق أنبوبي. وتشوش القوى النطاق الأنبوبي (مثلاً، ترغم النطاق الأنبوبي على التدفق بكيفية مزاحة عن مركز القناة)، مؤديةً إلى انتقال عطالي لاتماثلي asymmetric inertial migration للنطاق في القناة. الشكل 2(ب).
