EFFECT: invention provides higher clinical effectiveness with cost cutting for the ointment preparation.

Description

The invention relates to veterinary medicine, in particular to drugs used in the treatment of purulent-necrotic lesions of the distal limbs of cattle, which includes digital dermatitis.

This disease is spread all over the world and causes great damage to dairy farming. Finger dermatitis in cattle mainly affects dairy cows, it is localized more often on the skin of the arch of the interdental fissure of the hind limbs in the form of round erosion 1-5 cm in size [Samolov A.A. There is an ointment for the treatment of purulent wounds [RU 2035183C1, A61K35 / 78, A61K35 / 78, A61K31 / 00, 05.20.1995] in farm animals, which includes copper sulfate. It contributes to the rapid healing of wounds. However, information on the use of this ointment for the treatment of digital dermatitis in cattle in available literature sources was not found.

This is achieved by preparing the drug for the treatment of digital cattle dermatitis in the form of an ointment containing the following components in such proportions, wt.%:

zinc oxide 9 - 11 copper sulfate 35 - 45 ointment base rest

The drug for the treatment of digital cattle dermatitis in the form of an ointment has a bactericidal effect on causative agents of digital cattle dermatitis, as well as anti-inflammatory, drying and wound healing effects.

A preparation for treating digital cattle dermatitis in the form of an ointment is prepared by mixing the components until a homogeneous mass is obtained.

The drug for the treatment of digital cattle dermatitis in the form of an ointment is a homogeneous viscous mass of blue color.

The drug for the treatment of digital cattle dermatitis in the form of an ointment is used by applying to the affected skin. 1-2 applications are enough.
