Method provides manufacture of tubes with predetermined structure and density of metal. EFFECT: lowered energy and metal consumption, reduced cost of boiler tubes made of ingots of electroslag refining.

Description

 The invention relates to pipe rolling production, and in particular to a method for producing large diameter boiler pipes from ESR ingots (electroslag remelting), and can be used in pipe rolling plants with pilgrim mills incorporating cross-helical rolling mills.

 In the practice of pipe-rolling production, there is a method for manufacturing large-diameter boiler pipes from forged steel billets of grades 20, 12X1MF, 15X1M1F, 15GS, 15X5M with specified requirements for mechanical properties, including casting of an ingot, forging it (structure compaction), heating, piercing and rolling on a pilgrim camp (TU 14-1-2560-78 "Forged pipe billets for boiler pipes", TU 14-3-480-75 "Pipes for steam boilers and pipelines", TU 14-3-420-75 "Pipes for steam boilers and pipelines made of steel 15GS and 15Kh1M1F ".

 The disadvantage of this method is the high energy intensity of the process associated with repeated heating and deformation of ingots-billets, machining of forgings, increased expenditure coefficient of metal during redistribution of the ingot-forging-billet-pipe and, as a consequence, the high cost of pipes.

 Known in pipe rolling are methods of flashing ingots (billets) for lifting (expansion - 3-7%), size in size and posad (settling - 2-5%), where, with a change in the stress-strain state, the deformation expressed by the amount of stretching also changes . (F.A. Danilo et al. Hot rolling of pipes. -M.: Metallurgizdat, 1982, p. 300, tab. 34).

 The disadvantage of these methods of firmware is the inability to provide the necessary deformation of the ingot, which allows to obtain the mechanical properties, structure and density of the metal pipes, which are obtained by production from forged billets.

 The aim of the present invention is to reduce energy consumption, reduce metal consumption and, as a result, reduce the cost of boiler pipes when producing them from ESR ingots with obtaining the necessary requirements that meet TU 14-3-460-75 and TU 14-3-420-75.

 This goal is achieved by the fact that in the known method for the production of large diameter boiler pipes, which consists in using forged billets, heating to a deformation temperature depending on the steel grade, flashing them in a piercing mill in sleeves and rolling the sleeves in a pilgrim mill in pipes of a given size (TI API Q1 - 158-Tr. TB1-39-97 "Production of seamless hot-rolled pipes for steam boilers and pipelines according to TU 14-3-460-75"), instead of forged blanks, ESR ingots of a larger diameter than forged blanks are used, and the flashing processposad traveling with diameter 8-16%.

 Comparative analysis with the prototype shows that the inventive method for the manufacture of large diameter boiler tubes from ESR ingots of steel grades 20, 12X1MF, 15X1M1F, 15GS and 15XM differs in that they are deformed in the piercing mill with a diameter of 8-16% in diameter.

 Thus, the claimed method meets the criteria of the invention of "novelty."

 In the study of other known technical solutions in the art, the features that distinguish the claimed invention from the prototype were not identified and therefore they provide the claimed technical solution with the criterion of "significant differences".

 The proposed method for manufacturing large diameter boiler tubes from ESR ingots is that the deformation of the ingot is increased in comparison with the deformation of the workpiece by using an ingot of a large diameter and conducting a flashing process with a diameter overthrow of 8-16%.

 The experiments on flashing ESR ingots show that the flashing process for posad up to 18% is stable, without the formation of defects.

 The proposed method for the manufacture of boiler pipes eliminates three energy-consuming operations from the technological process, namely heating ingots for forging, forging ingots into forgings and machining the forgings.

 This method was tested at the Chelyabinsk pipe rolling plant.

 Experimental ingots with a size of 600x1400 mm of steel grade 12X1MF obtained by ESR were drilled to a diameter of 100 mm.

The piercing mill is set to a sleeve with a diameter of 530 mm. Heated ingots up to a temperature of 1280 o С were sewn on a mandrel with a diameter of 300 mm to a sleeve size of 530x107.5x2690 mm (11.7% in diameter) and rolled into pipes of 325x15x26300 mm in size. The total hood was 18.8.

 In traditional rolling of pipes of size 325x15 mm from forged billets with a diameter of 460 mm, the total hood is 10.8.

 Mechanical tests, as well as the structure and density of the metal showed full compliance with their requirements TU 14-3-460-75.

 Using the proposed method for the manufacture of large diameter boiler pipes will reduce energy costs and reduce their cost.

  1.  A method of manufacturing large diameter boiler pipes from an ESR ingot, including heating a metal, deformation in a piercing and pilgrim mill, characterized in that the metal deformation in a piercing mill during the production of boiler tubes from ESR ingots is carried out with a diameter of 8-16% in diameter.
