 The invention relates to the field of agricultural engineering and is intended for use in machines for harvesting beet root crops.

 The essence of the invention lies in the fact that in a device for separating impurities from root crops, containing a feeder, a conveyor with sidewalls, a drum with screw winding transversely mounted above it and a haulm conveyor, according to the invention, the haulm conveyor is finger-shaped, the drive shaft of which is located above the drum axis, and the web is installed with the possibility of adjusting the angle of inclination to the horizon.

 Comparison of the claimed device with the prototype shows that the new is the implementation of the topping conveyor finger, installing its drive shaft above the axis of the drum and adjusting the angle of inclination of the canvas to the horizon.

 To eliminate the winding of long-stemmed weeds on the drum and remove them from the heap of root crops, as well as to eliminate the sticking of soil and plant residues of the zone between the screw winding above the drum of the device, a finger-type conveyor is installed with an adjustable angle of inclination of the web to the horizontal, and its drive shaft is located above the axis of the drum, which allows you to effectively take out long-stemmed weeds and other plant debris and soil in the field. Thus, the claimed technical solution meets the criterion of "novelty."

 The device meets the criterion of "inventive step", because a result has been achieved that satisfies the existing need, attempts to which have not yet been succeeded by specialists, namely: the effective removal of long-stemmed weeds and other plant residues from the heap of root crops.

 The invention is "industrially" applicable, because can be used in machines for harvesting beet root crops.

 A device for separating impurities from root crops contains a feeder 1, feeding a pile of root crops to an inclined hill, in the form of a finger topper conveyor 2. Under the finger conveyor 2 there is a drum 3 with screw winding, while the drive shaft 4 of the conveyor 2 is located above the axis of the drum 3.  The leaf of the haulm conveyor 2 is installed with the possibility of adjusting its angle of inclination to the horizon.

 When the device is working, a pile of root crops, including root crops, plant residues in the form of tops and weeds, as well as loose and lumpy soil, is sent by feeder 1 to the finger conveyor 2. From it, the root crops slide down the inclined web to the conveyor 5 with sidewalls, and the lumps Soils and plant debris are carried out by a finger conveyor belt 2 to a harvested field. This is achieved by adjusting the inclination of the conveyor belt 2 to the horizon. A certain amount of soil and plant debris that has fallen onto the conveyor 5 with sidewalls is partially sifted through the rods of the conveyor 5 and, together with the root crops, enters the drum 3 with winding. In the zone of contact of the heap with screw winding of the drum 3, root crops, being cleared of soil, move along the working branch of the conveyor belt 5 transversely to it and are fed either to the tank or to the loading elevator. Lumps of soil at the moment of contact with the screw winding of the drum 3 are destroyed and wake up through the bars of the conveyor 5 down, and the tops and weeds due to their smaller thickness compared to the size of root crops pass under the drum 3 and are carried by the conveyor 5 to the harvested field.

 The use of this device allows to improve the quality of the device, namely the elimination of clogging by soil and plant debris and winding long-stemmed weeds on the drum.
