Claims (26)

1. Система отображения, содержащая матрицу, содержащую множество строк и столбцов интерференционных модуляторов, множество электрических проводников, каждый из которых подключен к одной из множества строк и столбцов, при этом по меньшей мере два проводника конфигурированы, чтобы быть по выбору электрически взаимосвязанными для модификации характеристики разрешающей способности по меньшей мере участка матрицы.

4. Система отображения по п.1, отличающаяся тем, что по меньшей мере два проводника присоединены по меньшей мере частично посредством непережигаемой перемычки.
5. Система отображения по п.4, отличающаяся тем, что непережигаемая перемычка изготовлена во время операций изготовления матрицы интерференционных модуляторов.
6. Система отображения по п.1, отличающаяся тем, что по меньшей мере два проводника присоединены по меньшей мере частично посредством транзистора.
7. Система отображения по п.1, отличающаяся тем, что дополнительно содержит процессор, электрически связанный с матрицей и конфигурированный так, чтобы обрабатывать видеоданные, запоминающее устройство, электрически связанное с процессором.
8. Система отображения по п.7, отличающаяся тем, что дополнительно содержит первый контроллер, конфигурированный для передачи по меньшей мере одного сигнала на матрицу, второй контроллер, конфигурированный для передачи по меньшей мере части видеоданных первому контроллеру.
9. Система отображения по п.7, отличающаяся тем, что дополнительно содержит модуль видеоисточника, конфигурированный для передачи видеоданных процессору.
10. Система отображения по п.9, отличающаяся тем, что модуль видеоисточника содержит по меньшей мере один из элементов, выбранных из группы, состоящей из приемника, передатчика или приемопередатчика.
11. Система отображения по п.7, отличающаяся тем, что дополнительно содержит устройство ввода, конфигурированное для приема входных данных и передачи входных данных процессору.
12. Способ модификации характеристики разрешающей способности дисплея, заключающийся в том, что электрически присоединяют через переключатель по меньшей мере два смежных столбца отображения друг к другу и/или по меньшей мере две смежные строки отображения друг к другу.
13. Способ по п.12, отличающийся тем, что используют переключатель, содержащий непережигаемую перемычку.
14. Способ по п.12, отличающийся тем, что используют переключатель, содержащий пережигаемую перемычку.
15. Способ по п.12, отличающийся тем, что используют переключатель, содержащий транзистор.
16. Способ по п.12, отличающийся тем, что дополнительно изготавливают переключатель во время последовательности операций изготовления дисплея.
17. Система отображения, содержащая средство для отображения изображения, содержащее множество строк и столбцов интерференционных модуляторов, множество электрических проводников, присоединенных к множеству строк и столбцов, средство для избирательного электрического соединения по меньшей мере пары упомянутых электрических проводников, чтобы модифицировать характеристику разрешающей способности по меньшей мере участка матрицы.
18. Система отображения по п.17, отличающаяся тем, что средство электрического соединения содержит электрическое соединение через переключатель по меньшей мере двух смежных столбцов дисплея друг с другом и по меньше мере двух строк дисплея друг с другом.
19. Система отображения по п.18, отличающаяся тем, что переключатель содержит пережигаемую перемычку.
20. Система отображения по п.19, отличающаяся тем, что переключатель содержит транзистор.
21. Система отображения по п.17 или 18, отличающаяся тем, что средство отображения содержит множество строк и столбцов интерференционных MEMS-модуляторов.
22. Способ изготовления системы отображения, заключающийся в том, что изготавливают множество электрических проводников, каждый из которых присоединяют к одной из множества строк или столбцов, по меньшей мере два проводника конфигурируют для избирательной электрической связи через переключатель, тем самым модифицируя характеристику разрешающей способности по меньшей мере участка дисплея, изготавливают дисплей одновременно с изготовлением множества электрических проводников и переключателей.
23. Система отображения, изготовленная посредством последовательности операций способа, заявленного по п.22.
24. Система отображения по п.23, отличающаяся тем, что переключатель содержит непережигаемую перемычку.
25. Система отображения по п.23, отличающаяся тем, что переключатель содержит пережигаемую перемычку.
26. Система отображения по п.23, отличающаяся тем, что переключатель содержит транзистор.
