Abstract
Inventia se refera la un procedeu pentru prepararea de acid tereftelic prin intermediul dimetilesterului asidului tereftalic si consta în aceea ca amestecul apa-metanol este de supus rectificarii împreuna cu celelalte fractiuni cu continut de metanol, la o presiune de 2 pâna la 20 at, vaporii cu continut de metanol obtinuti se supune unei compresii la un raport de compresie de 1,2:1 pâna la 15:1 si se realimenteaza la esterificare cu o temperatura de 150 pâna la 1300 degree C.
