SISTEMA E PROCESSO DE ROLAGEM DE IMAGEM UM ECRÃ TÁCTIL
ANTECEDENTES DA INVENÇÃO 1. Campo da Invenção
Esta invenção refere-se, genericamente, às apresentaçõesde dados de informação sob a forma de linhas sequenciais desimbolos que compreendem normalmente listas de palavras enúmeros, e refere-se, mais especificamente, ao uso e controlode formulários electrónicos destas visualizações. 2. Descrição da Técnica Relacionada
Tornou-se vulgar exibir listas de palavras e números emecrãs de visualização electrónicos, para acesso imediato porparte dos utilizadores. Muitas vezes, estas listas estendem-senum comprimento que ultrapassa as dimensões do ecrã electrónicoe, nesses casos, tornou-se ainda conhecido levar a imagem dalista a "rolar" pelo ecrã, de modo que uma linha de textocompreendendo palavras, números ou outros simbolos, pareceviajar de um canto ao outro do ecrã, até que uma secçãodesejada da lista, ou parte de uma linha, surjam no ecrã.
Sabe-se que os sistemas e processos actualmente utilizadospara controlar o movimento de rolagem da imagem do ecrã estãosujeitos a inúmeras limitações e desvantagens. Por exemplo, numsistema, um cursor pode ser colocado num bordo do ecrã e entãoser deslocado para o bordo oposto pressionando-se um botãoseleccionado do "rato", desta forma engatando e "arrastando" a imagem do ecrã numa direcção desejada. É bem conhecido que estedeslocamento da imagem do ecrã é lento e incómodo, excepto paramovimentos relativamente pequenos. Outro sistema em usocorrente activa um movimento de "rolagem" automático e continuoda imagem quando o cursor é colocado numa parte especifica daimagem, enquanto um botão seleccionado do rato é premido. Issoexige que se mantenha o botão seleccionado pressionado até quea parte desejada da imagem no ecrã seja exibida. Um sistemarelacionado de utilização corrente varia a velocidade domovimento de rolagem de acordo com a posição do cursor emrelação ao bordo do ecrã. Todos estes sistemas de controlo quereagem à posição do cursor estão sujeitos a limitaçõessemelhantes de desorganização do ecrã, falta de atractividadevisual estética, e à exigência de manipulação e manuseamento dodispositivo de rato. 0 pedido de patente Europeia EP 0 880 091 A2 refere-se aum processo e a um arranjo para rolar informação apresentadanum ecrã de uma estação móvel. Meios apontadores são deslocadosatravés da área activa do ecrã, e a parte exibida da informaçãono ecrã é deslocada na direcção do movimento dos meiosapontadores. A parte exibida, que é deixada a rolar, é disposta pararolar a uma velocidade medida para, ou proporcional, àvelocidade do meios apontadores no momento antes de seremremovidos. A velocidade dos meios apontadores na direcção daárea de controlo do ecrã, quando os meios apontadores sãoretirados, determina a velocidade de rolagem inicial da parteexibida e a direcção de rolagem. A parte exibida que fica arolar irá rolar a uma velocidade que abranda por si só. Ainformação apresentada é interrompida tocando na área activa doecrã com os meios apontadores.
De acordo com a EP 0 880 091, se um elemento não forvisível, então a lista na área activa do ecrã é tocada com osmeio apontadores, tal como com um dedo, um lápis ou outroinstrumento desse tipo, e a lista é rolada na direcção desejadadeslocando os meios apontadores sobre a superfície do ecrãnessa direcção. Se os meios apontadores se deslocarem fora doecrã, a lista é deixada a rolar. O documento EP 0 880 091 A2 divulga igualmente uma formade realização alternativa com uma superfície táctil num lado deuma estação móvel. Esta superfície táctil é utilizada como umaforma alternativa de controlar a operação de rolagem no ecrã deuma estação móvel deslocando meios apontadores na ditasuperfície de controlo. A superfície táctil funciona da mesmamaneira que a área activa do ecrã na primeira forma derealização mencionada acima. São proporcionadas setas dedirecção nas extremidades da superfície táctil que representama direcção de rolagem provocada por um toque. Formasalternativas de funcionamento incluem uma rolagem que se tornamais rápida tocando durante mais tempo na superfície táctil, naseta de direcção; uma velocidade de rolagem controlada tocandocontinuamente na superfície táctil, numa zona entre as setas dedirecção, que pelo lugar do toque determina a velocidade derolagem. A velocidade de rolagem atinge o seu valor máximo deacordo com o lugar do toque quando a superfície táctil é tocadadurante muito tempo.
Em resumo, o documento EP0880091 divulga um processo decontrolo de uma visualização de dados do tipo rolagem num ecrãde visualização electrónico, compreendendo, entre outros, ospassos de: - detectar a velocidade e direcção de movimento de umcontacto de toque de dedo com o dito ecrã de visualizaçãotendo dados susceptíveis de rolagem aí apresentados; - detectar a duração do tempo de contacto do dedo com o ditoecrã de visualização; - ao detectar um toque de dedo durante o deslocamento derolagem da imagem no dito ecrã de visualização,independentemente do comprimento do toque, parar omovimento do dito ecrã; - abrandar a velocidade do dito movimento de rolagem da suavelocidade iniciada até a um valor predeterminado;terminar o dito movimento de rolagem após a primeiradetecção, quer de um toque de dedo substancialmente imóveltendo uma direcção finito, quer de um sinal de fim derolagem. 0 documento EP0880091 revela ainda que pode distinguir-seum toque "comprido" e "mais comprido" com a finalidade deacelerar a velocidade de rolagem (ver em EP0880091: coluna 6, linha 44, até coluna 7, linha 53; Figura 5 e coluna. 7, linhas1-8) . 0 documento US 5,880,411 descreve um processo parareconhecer o movimento do cursor num "touchpad" [almofada detoque]. Gestos de tocar, arrastar, empurrar, arrastamentosprolongados e variáveis são reconhecidos pela análise daposição, pressão e movimento de um objecto condutor no"touchpad" durante o tempo de um suposto gesto. No gesto básicode arrastar, o utilizador toca uma vez, coloca rapidamente odedo de novo em contacto com uma almofada, desloca em seguida odedo numa direcção desejada no plano XY da almofada. O botãosimulado do rato é pressionado no início do gesto de arrastar e só é libertado quando o dedo é novamente levantado da almofada.A lógica do gesto permite que o toque inicial do gesto dearrastar seja incorporado no arrastamento prolongado, mars doque apresentar ao anfitrião um botão adicional.
Assim, o gesto de arrastar começa com um toque com umaduração que é inferior ao "Tap Time" [Tempo de Toque].Seguidamente, o dedo permanece longe da almofada durante umperíodo de tempo que é inferior ao "Drag Time" [Tempo deArrastamento], e retorna então para a almofada durante um temposuperior ao "Tap Time". Isto qualifica o gesto como umarrastamento.
Em resumo, o documento US5880411 demonstra a detecção dediferentes intervalos de duração de toque (ver em US5880411:Coluna 35, linha 22 até à coluna 39, linha 9, em conjunto comas Figuras 15A a 15E usando "Drag Time" e "Tap Time" eincluindo a rolagem como uma forma de arrastar). A patente US 4,954,967 descreve um dispositivo deprocessamento de informação que inclui meios de entradapossuindo uma pluralidade de comutadores aí dispostos, em que adirecção de actuação sequencial dos comutadores é detectadapara determinar uma direcção da rolagem do movimento dainformação. São proporcionadas marcas no ecrã para indicar adirecção de rolagem. A velocidade de rolagem pode sercontrolada pela rapidez com que os comutadores na posição decada marca são actuados. 0 documento WO 99/57630 refere-se a um processo parapermitir uma funcionalidade adicional em dispositivos deentrada de utilizador, tais como teclas ou botões, com base naduração da entrada por parte do utilizador. A duração é medidaem tempo, número de repetições da actividade normal, ou outrabase. 0 documento ΕΡ 0 707 258 diz respeito a um controlador derato que proporciona recursos de rolagem avançados em relação aum rato convencional. O arranjo do controlador de ratocompreende um gerador de função de velocidade de rolagem paragerar um sinal de controlo de velocidade de rolagem dependentedo tempo com formato pré-definido. O ciclo de salda é umafunção do estado de activação de um ou mais botões de premir dorato. A direcção de rolagem é determinada por um analisador derasto de cursor que detecta a direcção dominante num rasto decursor. O documento EP 0 938 040 descreve um aparelho paramanusear um objecto exibido num dispositivo de visualização. Oaparelho contém um painel sensivel ao toque e um dispositivo devisualização. Por meio de uma almofada de toque pode serexecutado um conjunto de manuseamentos, incluindo omanuseamento de objectos (incluindo manipulação da rolagem). Éproporcionado um manuseamento da rolagem de um objecto com basena detecção da velocidade à qual o dedo se desloca mais do queuma distância pré-determinada. O documento WO 01/33540 divulga um rato capacitivo. O ratocapacitivo contém uma placa condutora que é colocada em, ouperto da superfície superior do rato. Medindo a capacitância daplaca condutora com a terra detecta-se a presença ou ausênciade um dedo.
SUMÁRIO DA INVENÇÃO A presente invenção é definida pelas características dasreivindicações. As formas de realização da invenção são aquitornadas evidentes com referência à descrição das formas derealização preferidas. A invenção aqui descrita refere-se à apresentação de dadosdo tipo rolagem em ecrãs de visualização electrónicos e incluia possibilidade de um utilizador / visualizador aceder a umaparte desejada de uma longa lista de dados e informaçõesrolando, de forma rápida e natural, para o local dessa parte. A presente invenção inclui o fornecimento de um sistema deresposta ao ecrã táctil que confere um movimento de rolagem àimagem exibida, em resposta ao movimento de um dedo em contactocom o ecrã. A velocidade e direcção de movimento do dedo aolongo do ecrã determinam a velocidade e a direcção iniciais domovimento para a imagem. Depois de o dedo se separar do ecrã, aimagem continua a deslocar-se na mesma direcção a umavelocidade que diminui gradualmente até que o movimento sejaparado manualmente tocando no ecrã sem movimento do dedo, ouque a velocidade diminua para zero, ou para uma velocidademinima predeterminada, ou até que a imagem atinja o seu "fim".Alternativamente, o movimento continuo da imagem pode seralcançado ou aumentado de novo repetindo o "movimento devarrimento" de um dedo do utilizador ao longo do ecrã. 0movimento da imagem exibida pode ser parado manualmentemediante a aplicação de um dedo ao ecrã sem o deslocar ao longoda superfície do ecrã por um período de tempo finito. Se umdedo for aplicado sobre a superfície do ecrã por um períodomais curto de tempo, por exemplo, por um período inferior a umtempo mínimo definido, o toque de dedo pode ser considerado uma"selecção" de um item ou "coisa" correspondendo à imagemexibida no local tocado. Ainda mais, se o toque de dedo no ecrãfor feito para se deslocar com a apresentação, mas a umavelocidade mais lenta do que a velocidade de movimento nomomento, a visualização será abrandada para uma velocidade correspondendo ao movimento do dedo no momento em que ocontacto é interrompido.
Esta operação do sistema da presente invenção é conseguidoatravés da programação de um sistema de controlo baseado emmicroprocessador para deslocar a imagem num ecrã devisualização, tal como o ecrã de um tubo de raios catódicosconvencional, em resposta a um toque de dedo no ecrã e àdirecção de um movimento do dedo ao longo da superfície doecrã, à velocidade inicial do movimento do dedo. Em seguida, avelocidade do deslocamento é levada a diminuir a uma taxaseleccionada (unidades de deslocamento por unidade de tempo, ouuma função destas), até que o deslocamento pare finalmente (porexemplo, devido a ter-se atingido o fim da "rolagem") ou atéser parado deliberadamente, como aqui explicado.
De acordo com esta invenção, o movimento de rolagem dedados no ecrã de visualização desloca-se de forma aparentemente"natural", deslocando-se inicialmente a uma velocidadetransmitida pelo movimento do dedo do utilizador, a velocidadeabrandando depois a uma taxa constante até que, em últimaanálise, seja zero, a menos que seja parada mais cedo.
Além disso, se se verificar que a velocidade de rolagem élenta num ponto considerado muito longe antes do local desejadona rolagem, a velocidade de rolagem pode ser aumentada tantasvezes quanto possivel, simplesmente tocando de novo no ecrãpara transmitir um movimento "novo" à exibição.
Em qualquer ponto ou momento desejados, enquanto ummovimento de rolagem está em andamento, este pode serinterrompido por completo, novamente numa forma aparentemente"natural", bastando tocar com um dedo no ecrã mantendo-osubstancialmente imóvel durante um periodo de tempopredeterminado. A exigência de um toque de dedo imóvel por um período de tempo predeterminado [isto é, sem movimento] é paraassegurar que os mecanismos de temporização terão temposuficiente para distinguir entre um toque destinado a parar omovimento de rolagem e um toque [mais curto no tempo] destinadoa "seleccionar" ou "marcar" um item específico que estáincluído nos dados rolados. "A marcação por toque" é umacaracterística bem conhecida da tecnologia de apresentação derolagem neste momento, mas esta invenção revela a suautilização em combinação com uma forma nova, e até entãodesconhecida, de controlo de movimento de rolagem.
Estas e outras características e vantagens da presenteinvenção serão tornadas mais evidentes aos peritos nestaespecialidade, por referência à especificação seguinte,consideradas em conjunto com os desenhos anexos, nos quais:
BREVE DESCRIÇÃO DOS DESENHOS A Figura 1 é um fluxograma representando as operaçõessequenciais de um sistema de rolagem de imagem em ecrãtáctil de acordo com esta invenção. A Figura 2 é uma representação pictórica simplificada deum sistema de rolagem de imagem em ecrã táctil de acordocom uma forma de realização da invenção da Fig. 1. A Figura 3 é um diagrama de blocos simplificado de umaoutra forma de realização de um sistema de rolagem deimagem em ecrã táctil, de acordo com a Fig. 1.
DESCRIÇÃO DETALHADA DAS FORMAS DE REALIZAÇÃO PREFERIDAS
Na descrição que se segue, certos detalhes específicos daforma de realização descrita, tal como a arquitectura, interfaces e técnicas, etc., são apresentados para fins deexplicação, e não de limitação, de modo a proporcionar umentendimento claro e completo da presente invenção. Além disso,neste contexto, e para os efeitos de brevidade e clareza, asdescrições detalhadas dos dispositivos, circuitos e metodologiabem conhecidos foram omitidos, para evitar detalhesdesnecessários e possíveis confusões.
Fazendo agora referência ao diagrama de blocos da Fig. 1dos desenhos, o processo de funcionamento de um sistema derolamento de imagem num ecrã táctil 10 (como mostrado na Fig.1), de acordo com esta forma de realização pode ser visto comocomeçando no passo 100 com a detecção de um toque de dedo noecrã de visualização electrónico 100a tendo uma apresentação dedados imóvel, determinando o periodo de tempo em que o dedoestá em contacto com o ecrã 100b, e determinando se o dedo sedesloca ou permanece imóvel, 100c. A tecnologia e metodologiapara detectar e determinar os valores apropriados parainformação do tipo aqui descrito são bem conhecidos dos peritosna especialidade, e não serão mais descritos ou discutidos napresente memória descritiva.
Se não houver movimento e o contacto por toque continuardurante menos do que um tempo mínimo pré-determinado, o toque étratado no passo 100 como uma "selecção" da palavra dadostocado, e o sistema continua com o percurso "selecção" 102. Aoperação de um percurso selecção, começando, por exemplo, com orealce da palavra ou ícone tocado, é bem conhecido e nãoconstitui mais preocupação ao nível da operação do sistema dapresente invenção. No entanto, se o contacto por toquepersistir por mais do que um primeiro tempo mínimopredeterminado, e o dedo se deslocar então após esse tempo, oprocesso da invenção prosseguirá para o passo 103, no qual o item "seleccionado" da lista irá então "agarrar-se ao dedo",para que o item possa ser reposicionado na lista através doprocesso conhecido de "arrastamento por toque". Este passo dereposicionamento pode ser muito desejável para utilizadoresfrequentes que podem desejar agrupar os itens preferidos numdeterminado local. Depois de um item ter sido reposicionado nopasso 103, e o contacto de dedo com o ecrã ter sidointerrompido, o processo será revertido para o estado "em espera". Com referência ao passo 105, explicado abaixo, devesalientar-se aqui que neste passo existe um item seleccionado,mars do que todo o ecrã, que "se agarra ao dedo".
Noutra caracteristica, se não houver movimento do dedoenquanto o ecrã está parado, e o contacto continuar durante umtempo inferior ao segundo tempo minimo que é inferior aoprimeiro tempo minimo num valor finito facilmente mensurável,então o passo 100 ignora o contacto e o sistema reverte para oestado "em espera", aguardando mais sinais de entrada.
No entanto, se o passo 100 detectar movimento em associação com o toque de dedo no ecrã, durante o período finito entre o primeiro tempo pré-determinado e o segundo, então o processo da invenção prossegue para o passo 104,convertendo a velocidade e direcção do movimento do toque emmovimento de rolagem inicial correspondente dos dados apresentados. Assim, o passo 104 avança directamente para o passo 106. O passo 104, ou segue para o passo 106, ou divergepara o passo 105, dependendo de o dedo ser retirado do contactocom o ecrã ou continuar em contacto com o ecrã.
Isto é, se o toque de dedo do passo 104 transmitir movimento ao ecrã e o contacto por toque for então interrompido, o movimento do ecrã continua em conformidade como passo 106. No entanto, se o contacto com o ecrã não for interrompido, o processo da invenção prossegue do passo 104para o passo 105, em que todo o ecrã de visualização [nãoapenas um item seleccionado] de facto se "agarra ao dedo", demodo que todo o ecrã pode ser deslocado para cima ou para baixoe para a frente ou para trás, conforme o caso, com o dedo. Em alternativa, se o contacto por dedo no passo 105for interrompido enquanto o dedo está em movimento, o sistemada invenção prossegue para o passo 106, conforme descritoabaixo.
No passo 106 a função temporizador associada ao sistema dainvenção mede o tempo enquanto a acção de rolagem continua e osistema começa diminuir a velocidade de rolagem a uma taxacontrolada, a partir do seu valor inicial, que é determinadopela velocidade do toque de dedo, para zero ou até que avelocidade seja reduzida para qualquer valor minimopredeterminado desejado. Supõe-se que a maioria dosutilizadores deste sistema prefere que a diminuição davelocidade de rolagem comece imediatamente após o inicio darolagem. No entanto, deve reconhecer-se que o inicio da funçãodiminuição da velocidade pode, de facto, ser atrasado, de modoa começar em qualquer altura após o inicio do movimento derolagem. A incorporação de um atraso de tempo finito no sistemade controlo para utilização deste processo é uma técnicasimples bem ao alcance do conhecimento dos peritos nesta áreatécnica.
Enquanto o abrandamento do movimento de rolagem continua,rolagem, e após a rolagem ter terminado por completo, o sistema continua à espera de mais sinais de entrada, para controlar aoperação seguinte do sistema. No entanto, de acordo com ainvenção, a diminuição da velocidade de rolagem continua atéque um dos três eventos aconteça: (1) o abrandamento diminui avelocidade da rolagem para zero, ou para qualquer minimo pré-definido; ou (2) um sinal de "fim de rolagem" é recebido dafonte de dados; ou (3) um toque demorado no ecrã indica que arolagem deverá terminar. Independentemente do estado da acçãode abrandamento, o processo da presente invenção permite que osistema reaja ao próximo sinal de entrada iniciado peloutilizador a qualquer momento, após o passo 106. O passo 108 mostra que o processo da presente invençãoreage a um toque de dedo no ecrã durante ou após rolagem,repetindo essencialmente as funções do passo 100. Isto é, nopasso 108, o sistema detecta o toque de um dedo 100a no ecrã devisualização electrónico, determina o periodo de tempo 100b emque o dedo está em contacto com o ecrã, e determina se o dedose desloca ou permanece imóvel. 100b. Se o toque for imóvel e ocontacto continuar por menos de um tempo minimo predeterminado,o toque de dedo é tratado no passo 108 tanto como (1) uma"selecção" dos termos tocados, e (2) como uma instrução paraparar o movimento de rolagem. Neste caso, o movimento derolagem termina e o sistema reverte para o percurso "selecção"102, mencionado anteriormente. Por outro lado, se o toque forimóvel mas o contacto não continuar por mais do que o tempominimo, o processo trata o toque como uma instrução paraterminar somente o movimento de rolagem, e não há "selecção"resultante de qualquer listagem de dados que possa ter sidotocada. Quando o movimento de rolagem termina nestascircunstâncias, o processo reverte para o estado que existeantes do inicio do passo 100, à espera de "instruções" na forma de sinais de entrada; ou seja, aguardando ou a selecção de umitem exibido ou o inicio do movimento de rolagem.
Mais uma vez, deve realçar-se que a duração do contactopara um toque de dedo imóvel no ecrã serve como distinção entreum toque "selecção" e um toque "parar a rolagem". Embora tenhasido referido acima que um toque de dedo num intervalo de temporelativamente longo no decurso de rolagem serve quer como uma"selecção" quer como um sinal de "parar o movimento", seráóbvio que o processo poderia ser configurado facilmente paraque um toque de um dedo durante o processo de rolagem actuasseapenas como um sinal de "parar o movimento", independentementeda duração do toque; isto protegeria contra a possibilidade de"selecções" não intencionais decorrentes de toquesinadvertidamente longos, destinados apenas a "parar" a rolagem.
Em contraste com o toque imóvel no passo 108, se o sistemadetectar movimento do toque de dedo no ecrã, o processo revertepara o passo 104, convertendo novamente a velocidade e direcçãodo movimento do toque em movimento de rolagem dos dadosapresentados e reiniciando o processo de rolagem. Como antes, opasso 104 segue então directamente para o passo 106.
Na forma de realização do sistema ilustrado na Fig. 2, osistema é ilustrado como incluindo um dispositivo de computadorpessoal simples tendo um ecrã de visualização 10, uma unidadecentral de processamento 12 e um teclado 14 para introdução deinstruções manuais na unidade de processamento 12. De acordocom a convenção, será entendido que unidade de processamento 12inclui uma unidade de memória electrónica interna (nãorepresentada) com desenho e capacidades convencionais. Assim,para efeitos desta divulgação, a unidade de memória internapode ser assumida como sendo a fonte de uma visualização dedados susceptiveis de rolagem no ecrã de visualização 10, que é acessível manualmente ou por dispositivo de caneta, aquirepresentado estilisticamente pelo contorno de uma mão 16.
Em utilização o computador está configurado de forma bemconhecida para exibir os dados susceptíveis de rolagem no ecrã10 e uma mão / dedo ou a caneta 16 tocam no ecrã e deslocam-separa baixo ao longo do ecrã para transmitir um movimentoinicial de "rolagem" descendente para exibição de dados. O"software" no computador responde de forma interactiva aocontacto com o ecrã para criar o movimento de deslocamentodesejado do ecrã e o componente de temporizador interno agorainerente nestes computadores, que em cooperação com aprogramação da unidade de processamento 12 responde ao iníciodo movimento diminuindo gradualmente a velocidade dedeslocamento, tal como aqui explicado anteriormente. Quando umponto desejado no ecrã é visualizado ou se aproxima, outilizador pode aplicar a mão ou uma caneta 16 no ecrã paraterminar o movimento de rolagem. Como o movimento de rolagemnão envolve quaisquer peças móveis com massa real ou simulada,é possível parar instantaneamente o movimento do ecrã, semqualquer dificuldade ou preocupação com as consequências daforça inercial.
Assim, será agora entendido que o sistema e processo dapresente forma de realização facilitam uma abordagem rápida,conveniente e natural de acesso a uma visualização de dados dotipo rolagem num ecrã de computador natural.
Na forma de realização representada na Fig. 3, o sistema éilustrado como incluindo os elementos essenciais do dispositivode computador da Fig. 2 sem ter a configuração de umcomputador. Isto é, os componentes básicos do sistema destaforma de realização são aqui ilustrados como compreendendo ummicroprocessador 42 que está acoplado, por sua vez, a um teclado 44, meios de temporização 43 e um ecrã de visualização40. Cada um destes componentes funciona da mesma maneira que assuas contrapartes na forma de realização da Fig. 2, com omicroprocessador 42 e os meios de temporização associados 43 emconjunto, tendo aqui a mesma função que a unidade central deprocessamento 12 na Fig. 2.
Claims (11)
- REIVINDICAÇÕES1. Sistema de rolagem de imagem num ecrã táctil, compreendendo: um ecrã de visualização de imagem electrónica (40);um microprocessador (42) acoplado ao dito ecrã devisualização (40) para ai apresentar informações epara dai receber sinais interactivos; meios de temporização (43) associados ao ditomicroprocessador (42) para proporcionar assim capacidade de temporização; uma fonte de dados de formato de rolagem permitindo aapresentação no dito ecrã de visualização (40);instruções de programa de toque de dedo associadas aodito microprocessador (42) para detectar a velocidadee direcção de um contacto de toque de dedo com o ditoecrã de visualização (40); caracterizado por as ditas instruções de programa de toque de dedoassociadas ao dito microprocessador (42) estão tambémconcebidas para detectar a duração de tempo de umcontacto de toque de dedo com o dito ecrã devisualização (40); e por o sistema de rolagem deimagem num ecrã táctil compreender ainda: instruções de programa de movimento de rolagemassociados ao dito microprocessador (42) emresposta à dita duração do dito contacto de dedo imóvel de modo que, quando durante um períodotendo uma duração que é superior a um primeirotempo mínimo predefinido e inferior a um segundotempo mínimo predefinido, um movimento do ditotoque de dedo ao longo da superfície do ditoecrã de visualização (40) é detectado, a ditavisualização é deslocada em primeiro lugar emcorrespondência com o movimento do toque de dedoe, após uma separação do dito toque de dedo dodito ecrã (40), uma visualização conforme com umformato de rolagem no dito ecrã de visualização(40) é levado a começar a rolar no dito sentidodetectado e à velocidade inicial detectada;no qual a detecção de um toque de dedo duranteum deslocamento de rolagem da imagem no ditoecrã de visualização (40) actua apenas como"paragem de movimento", independentemente daduração do toque; instruções de programa de decaimento no tempoassociadas ao dito microprocessador (42) parareduzir a velocidade de deslocamento de rolagemno dito ecrã de visualização (40) a umavelocidade predeterminada até que o movimentotenha terminado; instruções de programa de paragem de movimentoassociadas ao dito microprocessador (42) paraparar o deslocamento de rolagem da imagem nodito ecrã de visualização (40) após a primeiraocorrência de qualquer sinal do grupo de sinais,compreendendo: (a) um toque de dedo substancialmente fixono ecrã de visualização (40) que dura umperiodo mais longo do que o tempo minimopredefinido e (b) um sinal de fim de rolagem recebido dadita fonte de dados de formato de rolagem, no qual as ditas instruções de programa demovimento de rolagem compreendem instruções querespondem à dita duração do dito contacto dededo fixo de modo que, quando durante um periodotendo uma duração que é superior a um primeirotempo minimo predefinido e inferior a um segundotempo minimo predefinido, um movimento do ditotoque de dedo na superfície do dito ecrã devisualização (40) é detectado, a ditavisualização é deslocada em primeiro lugar emcorrespondência com o movimento do toque de dedoe, se não houver movimento de dedo no momento emque o contacto de dedo com o ecrã devisualização (40) é interrompido, o dito ecrã devisualização (40) permanecerá na posição em quese encontra nesse momento sem movimentosuplementar, e o sistema reverte para um estadode "em espera", no qual as ditas instruções de programa demovimento de rolagem compreendem aindainstruções de resposta à dita duração do ditocontacto de dedo imóvel de modo que, quando adita duração é inferior ao dito segundo tempominimo predeterminado e se não houver movimento entre a separação do dito dedo do dito ecrã devisualização, um item tocado é seleccionado, emque após a selecção o item seleccionado édestacado.
- 2. Sistema de rolagem de imagem num ecrã táctil de acordo coma reivindicação 1, no qual as ditas instruções de programade movimento de rolagem compreendem ainda instruções paradeslocar um item seleccionado por toque, em relação àvisualização imóvel em correspondência com o movimento dodito toque de dedo, em resposta a um movimento que sesegue a um toque tendo uma duração de imobilidade maior doque o dito segundo tempo minimo predefinido.
- 3. Sistema de rolagem de imagem num ecrã táctil de acordo comqualquer uma das reivindicações precedentes, no qual asditas instruções de programa de movimento de rolagemcompreendem ainda instruções para reduzir a velocidade demovimento da dita visualização para uma velocidadecorrespondente ao movimento do dedo no momento em que ocontacto é interrompido, em resposta ao movimento do dedoa uma velocidade inferior à velocidade então em curso domovimento da visualização após um toque tendo uma duraçãode imobilidade superior ao dito primeiro tempo minimopredefinido e inferior ao dito segundo tempo minimo pré-definido .
- 4. Sistema de rolagem de imagem num ecrã táctil de acordo comqualquer uma das reivindicações precedentes, no qual asditas instruções de programa de paragem de movimento,também após a primeira ocorrência de (c) um toque de dedo substancialmente imóvel no ecrãde visualização (40) que dura um periodo menor ouigual ao dito tempo minimo predefinido provocam a paragem do deslocamento de rolagem da imagem nodito ecrã de visualização (40).
- 5. Sistema de rolagem de imagem num ecrã táctil de acordo coma reivindicação 1, no qual o dito grupo de sinaisdestinados a terminar o deslocamento de rolagem da imagemno dito ecrã de visualização (40) compreende ainda (a) um sinal que indica que a velocidade dedeslocamento de rolagem no dito ecrã de visualização(40) decresceu até um valor abaixo de um dado valorpré-determinado.
- 6. Sistema de rolagem de imagem num ecrã táctil de acordo coma reivindicação 1, no qual o dito microprocessador (42), eos ditos meios de temporização (43) compreendem, emconjunto, uma unidade de processamento de um computadorconvencional.
- 7. Sistema de rolagem de imagem num ecrã táctil de acordo coma reivindicação 6, no qual a dita fonte de dados deformato de rolagem que permite a exibição no dito ecrã devisualização (40) compreende parte da memória do ditocomputador convencional.
- 8. Processo de controlo de uma visualização de dados do tipocom rolagem num ecrã de visualização electrónico (40), odito processo compreendendo os passos de: detectar (100c) a velocidade e direcção do movimentodo dito contacto de toque de dedo com o dito ecrã devisualização (40) ; detectar (100b) a duração do tempo de contacto dededo com um ecrã de visualização electrónico (40) noqual são apresentados os dados susceptíveis derolagem; se a duração detectada de tempo de contacto de dedofor superior a um primeiro tempo mínimo predefinido einferior a um segundo tempo mínimo pré-definido e foracompanhada por movimento ao longo da superfície doecrã de visualização (40), deslocar a ditavisualização em correspondência com o movimento dotoque de dedo e - após a separação do dito toque dededo do dito ecrã de visualização (40) , - iniciar (104) o movimento de rolagem dos ditos dadossusceptíveis de rolagem no dito ecrã de visualização(40) na dita direcção detectada e à dita velocidadedetectada; ao detectar um toque de dedo durante o deslocamentode rolagem da imagem no dito ecrã de visualização(40), independentemente da duração do toque, parar omovimento da dita visualização; diminuir (106) a velocidade do dito movimento derolagem a partir da sua velocidade iniciada a umavelocidade predeterminada; e terminar o dito movimento de rolagem quando édetectada a primeira ocorrência de qualquer uma dascondições do seguinte grupo de condições: (a) um toque de dedo substancialmente imóvel tendouma duração finita é detectado; (b) um sinal de fim de rolagem é detectado, se a duração detectada do dito tempo de contacto de dedoimóvel for superior a um primeiro tempo minimo predefinidoe inferior a um segundo tempo minimo predefinido e foracompanhado por movimento do dito toque de dedo ao longoda superfície do dito ecrã de visualização (40) e, se apóso movimento subsequente da dita visualização em correspondência com o movimento do toque de dedo nãohouver movimento do dedo no momento em que o contacto dededo com o ecrã de visualização (40) é interrompido,manter o dito ecrã de visualização (40) na posição em queestá nesse momento sem mais movimento, e reverter osistema para o estado de "em espera", no qual o dito processo compreende o passo adicional (100)de selecção de um item tocado, se a duração imóveldetectada do tempo de contacto de toque de dedo forinferior ao dito segundo tempo minimo predeterminado e senão ocorrer nenhum movimento antes da separação do ditodedo do dito ecrã de visualização (40), no qual, com aselecção, o item seleccionado é realçado.
- 9. Processo de controlo de uma visualização de dados do tipocom rolagem num ecrã de visualização electrónico de acordocom a reivindicação 8, no qual o dito grupo de condições a serem detectadas para terminar o dito movimento de rolagemcompreende ainda: a velocidade do dito movimento derolagem no dito ecrã diminui para um valor inferior a umvalor dado pré-determinado.
- 10. Processo de controlo de uma visualização de dados do tipocom rolagem num ecrã de visualização electrónico de acordocom a reivindicação 8, no qual o dito processo compreendeo passo adicional (103) de detecção de um toque de dedoimóvel no dito ecrã tendo uma duração superior ao ditosegundo tempo minimo predefinido e em seguida deslocar umitem seleccionado por toque em relação à visualização fixaem correspondência com o movimento do toque de dedo.
- 11. Processo de controlo de uma visualização de dados do tipocom rolagem num ecrã de visualização electrónico de acordocom qualquer das reivindicações 8 a 10, no qual o ditoprocesso compreende o passo adicional de detecção demovimento do dedo a uma velocidade inferior à velocidadede movimento da visualização então em curso no seguimentoda detecção de um toque tendo uma duração de imobilidadesuperior ao dito primeiro tempo minimo predefinido einferior ao dito segundo tempo minimo pré-definido e entãoabrandar o movimento do dito ecrã até uma velocidadecorrespondente ao movimento do dedo no momento em que ocontacto é interrompido.
