Abstract

The utility model relates to a method of preparing jackfruit peel with squash jam by cutting a jackfruit into halves, collecting a jackfruit pulp and jackfruit peel, dipping the jackfruit peel immediately in a calamansi solution, boiling the jackfruit peel until it becomes tender, slicing into smaller strips the jackfruit pulp and jackfruit peel, slicing, peeling, and cutting into small cubes a squash to from a squash cubes, boiling the squash cubes, mixing the jackfruit pulp, jackfruit peel and squash cubes until homogenized to create a fruit mixture, adding and mixing sugar using a 1:1 fruit mixture and sugar ratio, cooking the fruit mixture, and adding calamansi juice to the fruit mixture to create a jam.
