METODO PARA LIMPIAR ESCORIA EN UN PROCEDIMIENTO METALURGICO SEMI-CONTINUO DE METALES NO FERROSOS, EN UN HORNO ELECTRICO QUE ESTA PROVISTO DE POR LO MENOS DOS AGUJEROS DE EXTRACCION DE ESCORIA UBICADOS A DIFERENTES ALTURAS. EL AGUJERO DE ALTURA INFERIOR ESTA DISPUESTO AL MISMO NIVEL DE LA SUPERFICIE INFERIOR DE LA ESCORIA Y CORRESPONDE AL NIVEL DE UN AGUJERO DE EXTRACCION EN UN HORNO CONVENCIONAL OPERADO EN ETAPAS, Y EL AGUJERO SUPERIOR ESTA DISPUESTO A LA ALTURA DE LA ENTRADA DE LA ALIMENTACION. EL LLENADO DEL HORNO ELECTRICO CON LA ESCORIA CARGADA DESDE UN HORNO DE FUSION, ES CONTINUO, AUN DESPUES DE QUE SEA LLENADO HASTA EL NIVEL DE FUSION MAXIMA QUE CORRESPONDE AL AGUJERO SUPERIOR, DURANTE UN PERIODO QUE CORRESPONDE AL 20-50% DEL PERIODO DE LLENADO NORMAL DEL HORNO, SE DETIENE EL LLENADO CERRANDO EL AGUJERO DE EXTRACCION SUPERIOR.
