Abstract

Referida a un metodo para producir glucosidos de esteviol, el cual comprende los pasos de: a) proporcionar una composicion inicial que comprenda un compuesto organico con al menos un atomo de carbono, b) proporcionar una preparacion enzimatica o microorganismo que contenga al menos una enzima seleccionada de enzimas de biosintesis de esteviol, UDP-glicosiltransferasas, y opcionalmente, enzimas de reciclaje de UDP-glucosa, c) poner en contacto la preparacion enzimatica o microorganismo con un medio que contenga la composicion de partida para producir un medio que comprenda al menos un glucosido de esteviol. El microorganismo se selecciona de E. coli, Saccharomyces sp., Aspergillus sp., Pichia sp., Bacillus sp. y Yarrowia sp.
