Abstract
Un metodo para la produccion electrolitica de cobre puro de compuestos que contienen cobre disueltos en un bano de alta temperatura de sales fundidas el cual funciona como un electrolito en una celda electrolitica. Una corriente electrica se hace pasar entre un anodo sumergido en el bano de sal fundida rico en iones de cobre y un catodo o marmita revestida de catodo en la que estan contenidos el bano de sal fundida, de esta manera reduciendo los iones de cobre disueltos para formar cobre fundido puro. El cobre fundido depositado se acumula en el fondo de la marmita y se puede separar del bano de sal fundida usando medios convencionales
