Abstract

Fremgangsmåte for å modifisere 1,3,5-triazinderivater, karakterisert ved å oppvarme og omsette et 1,3,5-tri- azinderivat som har minst en amino- eller monosubsti- tuert aminogruppe på et karbonatom eller -atomer på sin ring, med en alkohol i nærvær av en metallkatalysator og et hydrogenatom for å innføre en alkylgruppe eller alkenylgruppe i hver amino- eller monosubstituerte aminogruppe; en annen fremgangsmåte for å modifisere 1,3,5-triazinderivater, karakterisert ved å oppvarme og omsette et l,3,5-triazinderivat som har minst en amino- eller monosubstituert aminogruppe på et karbonatom eller -atomer på sin ring, med en toverdig alkohol i nærvær av en metallkatalysator og et hydrogenatom for å innføre en alkylgruppe som har en hydroksylgruppe i hver amino- eller monosubstituerte aminogruppe; og 1,3,5-triazinderivater erholdt ved metodene. De for- skjellige modifiserte, substituerte 1,3,5-triazinderi- vater således fremstilt, erholdes generelt som en blanding. Disse derivater kan isoleres som forbindelser med høy renhet ved en normal separasjonsmetode for organiske forbindelser, og forbindelsene er nyttige i de forskjellige applikasjoner nevnt i beskrivelsen.
