Abstract
En fremgangsmåte og anordning (60) er beskrevet som måler strømhas- tigheten for et fluid (F) ved å måle forskjellen i forplantningstid for et ultrasonisk signal som først sendes motstrøms og deretter medstrøms i fluidet, l hver ret- ning beregner anordning (60) tiden det tar før ultrasonisk bølgepakke som er sendt ut fra en ultrasonisk omsetter (62) mottas av en annen (63). Fremgangs- måten som anvendes består i digitalisering (85) av den mottatte bølgeformen og påfølgende identifikasjon av bølgeformskarakteristikkene ved sammenlik- ning med en standard mal av bølgeformen. Posisjonen i tid for disse karak- teristikkene bestemmes deretter med hensyn til en høyhastighetsklokke (70). Disse resultatene anvendes deretter i en vektet beregning for å bestemme an- komsttiden for bølgeformen ved omsetteren (63).
