Når tverrakselerasjonsforholdet måles ved et skinnegående kjøretøy og lastebunnkrengningen optimeres tilsvarende, så oppstår et problem ved tidsforsinkelse mellom måling og innstilling såvel som de ved målingen inngående forstyrrelser. Dette oppheves ved at krengningsrelevante skinnedata lagres i et skinnemodellager (27) med den detekterte ER-posisjonen (1), den momentane eller i fremtiden relevante skinnedata kan fremhentes og i funksjon av den tilveiebrakte momentanhastigheten (9) til kjøretøyet beregnes den nøyaktige nødvendige lastebunnkrengningen (a$) og innstilles (11).
