Abstract

Trykksensoren (10) ifølge oppfinnelsen, spesielt for overvåkningsanordninger på intern-forbrenningsmotorer, er ment for å sikre kontinuerlig den optimale omforming av brensel til effekt under de mest pålitelige operasjonsforhold som er mulig i det lange løp. Ideelle overvåkningsparametre for dette er måling av forbrenningstrykket i hver sylinder og injeksjonstrykket for flytende eller gassformig brensel. For dette er det foreslått en ny trykksensor (10), som er beskrevet nedenfor. Dens skiveformede sensorlegeme (12) har et trykkrom for mediet som skal måles. Innsatt i dette trykkrommet i sensorlegemet (12) er det et boltelement (16) som danner en rørformet trykkåpning (19) med lite volum. Boltelementet (16) reduserer på en side dødt rom i trykkrommet. og danner på den annen side en varmeakkumulator, som danner et temperatur-kompenserings- element og reduserer temperatursvingningene i sensoren (10) på grunn av temperatursjokk. Avhengig av utformingen, kan den nye trykksensor (10) brukes for hete forbrenningsgasser, og også for forskjellige typer brensel og andre flytende eller gassformige substanser, l anvendelsen for overvåkning av intern-forbrennings- motorer, oppnår man meget spesielle fordeler fra å montere trykksensoren (10) mellom forbrenningskammeret og indikatorventilen istedenfor etter indikatorventilen, hvilket muliggjør periodiske gjennomblåsninger og dermed fjerning av alle forbrenningsrester. Dessuten kan en kalibreringsmåling utføres når som helst. Det nye sensorkonsept muliggjør således for første gang en pålitelig måling og overvåkningsanordning for intern-forbrenningsmotorer, som kan verifiseres når som helst uten å avbryte driften, mens også sensorlegemet (12) kan skiftes ut om nødvendig, uten å stoppe motoren. På denne måten er man sikret en tidligere uoppnåelig overvåkning av intern-forbrenningsmotorer.
