Abstract

Et anti gjenfuktningsdekke er anordnet på pressvalser (3) benyttet til å øke konsistensen på en fibrøs massevelling f ra. omlag 456 opp til omlag 30 til 5056. Dette blir utført ved å plassere dreneringshullene (140) i valsekappen mot den fremre kant av drenerlngs- rommene inne i valsekappen. En mekanisme er anordnet for å minske gjenfukting (tilbakestrømning) ved praktiske produksjonshastigheter ved å anordne ledeplater (175,177) som effektivt orienterer dre- nerlngsmønsteret i den ønskede retning. Slike ledeplat- er kan installeres permanent eller avtagbart når den ønskede avhending av valsene er bestemt.
