Abstract

Det tilveiebringes herdbare blan- dinger basert på karboksy/epoksy-kjemi og herdede belegg fremstilt ved hjelp av disse. I de herdbare blandinger anvendes 1,3,5-tris-(2-karboksyetyl)-isocyanurat som det flerbasiske karboksylsyre-tverr- bindemiddel. Tverrbindemidlet kombineres med et polyepoksyd, så som slike som opp- nås ved kopolymerisering av glycidylmetak- rylat med en eller flere epoksyfrie, ole- finisk uraettede monomerer. Polyepoksydet har typisk en molekylvekt fra l 000 til 30 000, en epoksy-ekvivalentvekt fra 50 til 5 000 og en glassomvandlingstemperatur fra 10 til 120"C. Det kan også anvendes en herdekatalysator så som trifenylfosfin. Varmeherding av blandingene gir harde filmer som kan anvendes for belegg som er motstandsdyktige mot av- skalling, riper og skader. Slike belegg kan anvendes for motorkjøretøyer og som belegg for generell anvendelse i industri- bedrifter.
