Abstract

Induksjonsovn som er i stand til å oppvarme et flatt stålprodukt på kontinuerlig og homogen måte, og som særlig er innrettet for oppvarming av en tynn plate som kommer fra et kontinuerlig støpeanlegg anbragt oppstrøms for det siste trinn i en valseprosess under produksjon av tynne stålbånd. På grunn av den lille tykkelsen som produktet som skal oppvarmes har, vil en ovn av denne type ha en redusert spolestørrelse i strimmelens materetning. For å unngå at effektiviteten avtar under disse forhold på grunn av at stor sprede-fluks påvirker apparaturen med derav følg-ende alvorlige ulemper, oppviser forelig-gende oppfinnelse en fluks-konsentrator tildannet som to kontinuerlige, laminerte pakker med hovedsakelig c-formet tverr-snitt og anbragt slik at de omgir induk-torspolen i hele dens lengde og både ved den øvre og nedre side av denne, mens bare et mindre gap er åpent for passasje av produktet som skal oppvarmes idet det pas-serer spolene.
