Abstract

Ved en enkel sammensetning av ovner fremstilles silisium-"metall (4), silumin (12), aluminium-metall (14) etter hverandre (sammenhengende) fra feltspat (1) eller feltspatholdige bergarter (anortositt, syenitt, monzonitt, dioritt, granitt, pegmatitt, gneis og nefelinsyenitt) (1) løst i fluorid (2). Den spesielle kombinasjonen av sammensetningene av feltspat og prosesstrinnene (3,6,10,15,16) gjør at mengden (forholdet mellom) silisium,. silumin og aluminium som produseres lett kan reguleres. Silisium skal raffineres (4,5). Oksygengass (17) kan med fordel fremstilles ved bruk av inerte anoder (16). Av"alkaliene" (18) som fremstilles kan fluorider (fluorooksosalter) (19) gjenvinnes,. resirkuleres og brukes til produksjon for andre nyttige produkter. Feltspat (1) er det eneste råstoff som forbrukes ved resirkuleringen av "alkaliene" (19). En korrosjonsfri elektrisk isolator (7) utvikles.
