Abstract

Tidligere ukjent la-hydroksyvitamin D4 og tidligere ukjente analoger, 1,25-dihydroksyvitamin D4 og 1,24-dihydroksyvitamin D4 er egnede som aktive forbindelser i farmasøytiske preparater til behandling av forstyrrelser i kalsium- metaboliseringen. Prepareringen av det tidligere ukjente la- hydroksyvitamin D4 starter fra ergosterol som i seks trinn konverteres til 22,23-dihydroergosterol. 22,23- dihydroergosterol ble bestrålt for derved å gi vitamin D4 som ; i fire trinn konverteres til la-hydroksyvitamin D4 ved i anvendelse av en cyklovitaminprosedyre som frembringer de nye ; mellomprodukter vitamin D4-tosylat, 3,5-cyklovitamin D4 og la- ; hydroksycyklovitamin D4. 1,25-dihydroksyvitamin D4 og 1,24- dihydroksyvitamin D4 isoleres som biologiske produkter av Is - hydroksyvitamin D4's metabolisering ved anvendelse av dyrkede menneskelige leverceller.
