Abstract

Blanding omfattende (a) et metallsalt eller kompleks med en organisk forbindelse med den generelle formel og (b) en oksyfosforforbindelse hvor W kan være -SH eller en eventuelt substituert hydrokarbylgruppe, Q er -OH, hydrogen eller eventuelt substituert hydrokarbyl, og Z er hydrogen eller eventuelt substituert hydrokarbyl, og Q og Z eller Z og W kan fullføre en ring. Forbindelsene er typisk metall- komplekser av tiohydroksaminsyrer eller ditiokarbamater. Metallet er typisk sink. Blandingene har forbedret løselighet i vann sammenlignet med metallkompleksene alene, og kan anvendes som industrielle biocider, spesielt fungicider og særlig i malingfilmer og latekser.
