Abstract

Oppfinnelsen angår en fremgangsmåte og en anordning ti il å forhindre og slukke branner i lukkede rom (10) hvori den indre luftatmosfæren ikke er tillatt å overskride en forutbestemt temperaturverdi. For at kjølekapasiteten tilveiebrakt ved et luftkondisjoneringssystem ikke nødvendigvis må økes når inertgass blir kontinuerlig eller regulert tilført den indre luftatmosfæren for å fastsette eller opprettholde et spesifikt inertieringsnivå i nevnt e lukkede rom, tilveiebringer oppfinnelsen et system for den regulerte utladning av inertgass i den indre luftatmosfæren i det lukkede rommet (10). Systemet omfatter en beholder (1) for tilveiebringelse og lagring av inertgass i flytende form og en fordamper (16) koblet til nevnte beholder (1) for å fordampe minst en del av inertgassen tilveiebrakt i beholderen (1) og utlade den fordampede inertgassen i den indre luftatmosfæren i det lukkede rommet (10). Fordamperen (16) er derved konstruert for direkte eller indirekte å ekstrahere varmeenergi som er nødvendig for å fordampe den flytende inertgassen fra den indre luftatmosfæren i det lukkede rommet (10).
