Abstract

Ifølge den foreliggende oppfinnelsen fremstilles 2-kloretoksy-eddiksyre-N,N-dimetylamid med formelen (I) I ved å reagere 2-hydroksyetoksy-eddiksyre-N,N-dimetylamid med formelen (II) II i et løsningsmiddel eventuelt i nærvær av en katalysator med tionylklorid og ved å fjerne løsningsmidlet ved destillasjon.
