Abstract
Fremgangsmåte for å øke temperaturen i en seksjon av et rør som benyttes for produksjon eller transport av hydrokarboner. I henhold til ett aspekt omfatter fremgangsmåten (a) å danne et behandlingsfluid omfattende (i) et bærefluid og (ii) en første reaktant og en andre reaktant samt (b) å innføre behandlingsfluidet i en seksjon av røret som benyttes for produksjon eller transport av hydrokarboner. Første reaktant og andre reaktant er valgt for å være i stand til å reagere sammen i en eksoterm kjemisk reaksjon, idet første og andre reaktant finnes i minst tilstrekkelige konsentrasjoner i bærefluidet til å danne en teoretisk reaksjonsvarme på minst 1000 kJ/liter av behandlingsfluidet. Minst en del minst én av første og andre reaktant er suspendert i bærefluidet i en fast form som er tilpasset å hjelpe til å regulere frigivelse av reaktant inn i bærefluidet.
