Abstract
Den foreliggende oppfinnelse vedrører en fremgangsmåte hvorved mysepermeater eller blandinger derav kan omdannes til et modifisert mysepulver (MWP) med et lavt mineralinnhold, lav hygroskopisitet, og fordelaktige organoleptiske egenskaper ved bruk av en kombinasjon av ionebytting demineralisering og krystallisasjon. Det modifiserte mysepulver oppnådd på denne måte er egnet for "tørre" anvendelser i produksjonen av næringsmiddelprodukter. Videre vedrører den foreliggende oppfinnelse et modifisert mysepulver (MWP) som kan oppnås ved hjelp av den nevnte fremgangsmåte og vedrører videre produkter omfattende nevnte modifiserte mysepulver (MWP), som f.eks. konditorvarer inklusive konfekt, kjeks, og alkoholfrie drikker i pulverform.
