Abstract

Oppfinnelsen vedrører lavdosetabletter fremskaffet ved direkte kompressering av mikrogranuler vesentlig bestående av et nøytralt underlag belagt med et polymert lag som består av minst en farmasøytisk akseptabel polymer og som tillater en modifisert frisetning av aktive substanser i vandig medium, til hvilket det er pålagt et aktivt lag inneholdende minst en aktiv substans. Tablettene ifølge oppfinnelsen oppviser fordelaktig en matrikseffekt som ligner den som er oppnådd med konvensjonelle matrikstabletter som er avhengige av egenskapene til polymeren(e) som er brukt i polymerlaget. Denne matrikseffekten gjør det mulig å modifisere frigjøringsprofilen til den aktive substansen basert på den type polymer som blir brukt. Disse tablettene er spesielt velegnede for lavdosetabletter. Oppfinnelsen angår også en metode for å produsere disse tablettene og bruken derav, spesielt for administrering av den aktive substansen i lave til veldig lave doser.
