Abstract
En fremgangsmåte for modifisering av stivelse eller stivelsesderivater, omfattende: innføring av en kontinuerlig strøm av stivelsesubstrat, gass og eventuelt et eller flere reagenser i en reaktor, hvori stivelsessubstratet har et fuktighetsinnhold mellom 0 og 45 vekt%, en oppholdstid i reaktoren på mellom 1 og 60 minutter og oppvarmes til mellom 50 og 220 ºC karakterisert ved at stivelsessubstratet og gassen innføres i reaktoren i motsatte retninger og ved at reaktoren har et rørformet legeme omfattende en roterende aksel hvorpå det er anbrakt et blad eller flere blad.
