Abstract
Fremgangsmåte for fremstilling av en rørformet struktur så som et mantelrør (10), med indre og ytre røravsnitt (11, 13) med innbyrdes sampasning, og et mantelrør (10) fremstilt ifølge fremgangsmåten. Fremgangsmåten innbefatter de følgende trinn (a) plassering av to røravsnitt i hverandre for derved å tilveiebringe en anordning (15) med det indre røravsnitt (11) og det ytre røravsnitt (13), (b) radiell ekspandering av en del av det indre røravsnittet (11) til samvirke med den omgivende del av det ytre røravsnitt (13) ved hjelp av et ekspansjonsverktøy (17), (c) fortsatt radiell ekspandering av den nevnte del av det indre røravsnitt (11) for derved å bevirke en plastisk ekspandering av denne del av det indre røravsnitt (13) og en elastisk ekspandering av den omgivende del av det ytre røravsnitt (13), og (d) gjentagelse av trinnene (b) og (c) for én eller flere ytterligere deler av det indre røravsnitt (11). Fordi det indre røravsnitt (11) blir ekspandert radielt til en tilstand med plastisk deformasjon og det ytre røravsnitt (13) blir radielt ekspandert slik at det underkastes en elastisk, men ikke en plastisk deformasjon, oppnås det en sampasning mellom det indre og ytre røravsnitt som følge av reststrekkspenning i det ytre røravsnitt (13) og restkompresjonsspenning i det indre røravsnitt (11). Fremgangsmåten kan også innbefatte tilveiebringelsen av en metallurgisk binding mellom de motliggende overflater i henholdsvis på de to røravsnitt (11, 13).
