Abstract

Apparater og fremgangsmåter som er nyttige for kontinuerlig elektrostatisk prosessering av polymerformuleringer er tilveiebrakt. Apparatene omfatter et matetrinn som fungerer slik at man kontinuerlig gir ut elektrostatisk prosessert materiale, og et oppsamlingstrinn hvorved det utgitte materialet samles opp. Apparatene omfatter en anordning for kontinuerlig fjerning av det avleirede elektrostatiske prosesserte materialet fra oppsamlingstrinnet. Apparatene kan valgfritt omfatte et opplukkingstrinn som er i stand til å rulle opp det fjernede elektrostatiske prosesserte materialet. Et behandlingstrinn kan tilveiebringes for å påføres substanser til det elektrostatisk prosesserte materialet for å endre karakteristikkene til materialet og/eller å fysisk behandle materialet, slik som ved rulling eller oppvarming. De elektrostatisk prosesserte materialene kan ha mikroskaladimensjoner eller nanoskaladimensjoner.
