Abstract

Detektering, unngåelse og/eller korrigering av problematiske punktfjerningsmønstere i paritetsbitstrømmer anvendt ved iverksetting av punktfjernede turbokoder, oppnås uten å måtte unngå uønskede kodetakter. Dette muliggjør fastleggelse/unngåelse av områder med relativt dårlig turbokodearbeidsfunksjon. Fremoverrettet feilkorreksjon må omfatte turbokoding, og punktfjerning frembringer en jevn, funksjonell sammenheng mellom hvilke som helst arbeidsfunksjonstiltak på den effektive kodetakt som er resultatet av kombinasjon av den lavtakstkode som genereres av turbokoderen (600) ved punktfjerning av paritetsbitenheter. I en viss utførelse blir fremgangmåter for å korrigere/unngå degraderinger på grunn av turbokoding iverksatt ved punktfjerningsvekselvirkning når to eller flere trinn av verditilpasning (610, 620) blir benyttet.
