Abstract

Med den fremgangsmåte for styring av maskiner (20), særlig av dekanteringsinnretninger og separatorer, registreres driftstilstander (30 - 36), så som strømforbruk, temperatur, transporthastighet etc, på maskinen og samles og lagres i en datamaskin (5). Deretter overføres dataene til en andre datamaskin (10), for at disse data skal kunne vurderes i den andre datamaskin (10). Ved vurderingen sammenliknes er-tilstanden med en bør-tilstand, for i tilfelle av en utenfor toleranseområdet liggende avvikelse å frembringe en feilmelding som da automatisk ved hjelp av den andre datamaskin (10) utmates på en periferianordning og/eller en ytterligere datamaskin. For dette formål genereres en.læredyktig, flerlags matematisk modell for maskinen og prosessen. Ifølge oppfinnelsen er det også tilveiebrakt et informasjonssystem for drift av en maskin (20), med hvilket styringsmetoden kan gjennomføres. Ved hjelp av den automatiske registrering og videreledning av driftstilstandene kan mulige feiltilstander gjenkjennes tidlig på maskinen, slik at man kan gripe inn allerede før et skadetilfelle.
