Et forbedret aluminiumlegeringsribberåmateriale med høy styrke og høy varmeledningsevne inneholder 1,2 - 1,8% Fe, 0,7 - 0,95% Si, 0,3-0,5% Mn og Al ad 100%, og fremstilles ved kontinuerlig båndstøping av legeringen med en kjøle-hastighet større enn 10°C/s, kaldvalse omvalsearket til en mellomliggende tykkelse, gløde arket og kaldvalse arket til den endelige slutt-tykkelse. Dette ribberåmateriale har en ledningsevne etter lodding større enn 49,0% IACS.
